Love it - that's ingenuity. Like the built-in look. Here are some pics of the bracket and after being painted and installed.

I will try (eventually) to wire it along the path/outlet for the bed outlet. I dont like power cables and things needed for recovery under the vehicle, as you wont know a wire was damaged or cut until it is too lateLove it - that's ingenuity. Like the built-in look.
You're hired - come over and set up my JT for winch on the receiver mount I got and rig up the switches. I've received almost a dozen more restoration projects this week and now don't have time to even work on my own truck or cars.I'm late on this and not a JT but I ran 2, 8K winches on my XJ rock crawler I used a Warn 20 ft cable kit for the rear a 5 ft front, a disconnect relay switch for both winches. And have jumper cables to attach either end too with out having to open good. Using HF winch n receiver mount for rear. with it I've pulled out some very stuck vehicles. My reason for the rear winch was I did a lot of off road trips by myself, snatch blocks are your friend's ( I have 3 8-10 k ones) if you have the aux switch's in your Jeep you can use one for winch disconnect relay. Then just run power cable to rear n front with out power until you need it. With snatch block you double winch pull minus 10% friction loss/safety. The"new" winch ropes aren't really new but quite a bit safer than cable unless used incorrectly. Boaters and ships have been using them quite a long time now and off roaders. With that lose weight on vehicle, no wire burs, easy to store,p don't and floats. Shackles, snatch blocks made of polymer stronger too. A few things to think about.

I'd like to but my night job might not then I wouldn't be able to to get my next Jeep and restore mine. If I get one of jobs I applied for new JT should be in few months.., if other few to 5 years but be able to SCUBA Dive almost every day expensive hobbies. You're hired - come over and set up my JT for winch on the receiver mount I got and rig up the switches. I’d have to try to find it but I have seen the attachment piece that’s basically a piece of 2” square tube with ears that you can mount to the bed of the trailer or truck bed and slide the draw bar part of the winch mount into it and secure with a draw bar pin. Mounted on the floor of the bed at the front might not be in the way too much for normal bed use when the winch isn’t in there. Of course you might have to figure out a notched piece of 4x4 post or something to run the line through so it doesn’t drag on the truck bed when reeling it in but I’m sure you could come up with something. That's why I got the receiver winch mount........ may change my mind later, but since I don't do serious stuff at this point, it gives me options. Move it where I need it, out of the way otherwise, if I'm pulling or hauling, I can leave the winch at home and save PAYLOAD.
Bed mount is a no for me - don't want to give up any bed space.

I had thought about getting a receiver square to mount on my car hauler so I could have one winch for Jeep or trailer. But with the tilt bed, that heavy winch on the front would prevent the trailer from ever tilting unless I put a weight on the back to balance it out.I’d have to try to find it but I have seen the attachment piece that’s basically a piece of 2” square tube with ears that you can mount to the bed of the trailer or truck bed and slide the draw bar part of the winch mount into it and secure with a draw bar pin. I was just thinking you could use it to pull a car on the trailer when the trailer is using the hitch maybe?? Or mount it on the trailer nose and be able use on the truck hitch or trailer and make the winch multi use. Tell the wife “see, it’s a multi use investment”
Just a thought..
