This one:
https://stellantis.navshop.com/#/downloads
I selected Jeep>Gladiator> UConnect 5, and got the following results.
I've not tried to see if the updates would work on this new system. Information came from a cross posting where a guy with a '24 Trailhawk used this to update his system. Maybe Trailhawk is behind the JL & JT?

Looks like this is working. I’m downloading the North America maps on to my thumb drive right now. I’ll be saving the website too. Thanks for your help on this!

Great news.
Please keep us posted on how the upload to the Jeep goes. 🍻
So . . . . it did NOT work. At all. Downloaded the files from that site, unzipped them and stuck them on my thumb drive. Went and plugged it in to my JT and nothing . . . . nada, zip. So that was a waste of an hour as it took a while to download 18 GB of maps. Ugh.

My UConnect is still trying to connect to wifi to do the stupid OTA updates. So back to the drawing board.

Looks like mine is a slightly older version. So much for their over the air updates that supposed to keep everything peachy. 🤣
Yeah, mine has been connected to home WiFi and connected by cellular and it still hasn’t updated the firmware. I may ask the dealer to update it the next time I am in for service.

That’s what I was thinking too, just get the dealer to do it.

Well that's a bummer. Was really hoping it worked for you. Seems like the ota process for map updates doesn't work either.

Wonder if this is a physical build # Here is what is in my '25 Rubicon-X.
Both the original radio and the exchange radio are the same build number.
Makes me think this may not be software/firmware related.
Total WAG on my part.

Agreed. It’s stupid them stopping you from using a USB when the OTA updates are so hot and miss.

I don’t need 5 GB of Europe maps, as much as I’d line to drive my JT there I’m not going to.

So frustrating they don’t put more thought in to it.

I currently have 2 open tickets with Jeep for the Jeep app regarding Face ID and the trip logging feature.

The guy I’m in touch with admitted that they are known issues, but they aren’t sure when a fix will be available. So another case of them pushing out technology that doesn’t work properly and isn’t reliable.

You may be on to something, yes.

Given what a mess my UConnect is after all those OTA map updates they tried pushing out I’ll be asking the dealer to update / reinstall all the software anyway.

Couldn’t get my phone to connect again this morning. It’s used to connect immediately and just fine, but now it’s struggling every day.

Keep us posted, please!
I'm at the point of pulling the chip, and not doing any updates, because this exchange radio is almost working okay.

So, after shutting off the Auto downloads via WiFi and turning off wireless CarPlay, only connecting via USB-C, I haven’t had any issues with screen freezes, etc. Will continue the same for another week and see how it goes and report back.

Poked my dealer today while the gladiator was in having its hitch installed. He had the tech check my version and lo and behold- there is an update available that is supposed to fix the resizing and volume glitch.

She goes in Tuesday of next week for the update as it "is dealer only, not going to be pushed out OTA Due to the size)

We shall see.

Currently running FCA-MY24.U40.22-PROD

Exchange radio installed Thursday. Will see how it works out. Hoping it was actually refurbished and I'm not the second "test dummy". lol
On the Wrangler forum a couple of guys have noted that they didn't start having issues until attempting to update the Navigation maps.
I'm going to give it a few weeks to see if this radio is stable. If it is, then I'll look to see if the Nav maps need updating, and give it another shot. Prior radio was never able to complete the map updates.
Maybe part and parcel to the issues?

Meantime the pre '24 oem whip antenna parts have shown up, so that is the next project. :)
I had my radio, wiring harness and back up camera all replaced on Monday. That seems to have fixed the occasional black back up screen. The other issue I have had is a blurry back up camera, but only when it s hot. When its cooler it's clearer. I checked a 2026 with my advisor and it's night and day compared to mine. I'm not sue if they will ever figure out why mine has been blurry since day 1. At this point I'm not sure I care, but now that I know how clear it's supposed to be it's a little frustrating. My front camera is very clear all the time.
