Wow. I can see why most people don't renew. At the very least, they are selling the service poorly.

The 3G shutdown should not have affected you. There are some threads on issues with the hotspot not working. Try resetting the radio (fuse 97?). The reset methods are in the other threads.

Something impacted mine since last May. I no longer get any reports and the status of my truck froze as of last may when I look at the last mileage and other things about the truck. It's like connectivity with those features died.

Just curious, what is the use case for unlocking locking using uconnect vs the fob? Only thing I could think of was if you forgot to lock it and remembered when you were too far away to use the fob.

That's exactly when I've used it before. Get into a shopping center and my wife asks - did you lock the truck? I have stuff in there......... So I got my phone out and issued a lock command. Then another time it was REALLY cold and I knew we were too far from the truck but ready to head out and issued a remote start command. I've used the uconnect lock more than once (I'm forgetful) and remote start via uconnect at least once.
