Unmarry it, do a firmware update, and then remarry it. See if that helps any.
I went ahead and unmarried it and then remarried it with no firmware update. Probably won't do anything, but we will see. I will update next if this doesn't help. None of my issues affect much except when backing up there is occasionally a black screen. They are just annoying issues. Luckily I grew up using mirrors and good ole turning of my neck.

My Tazer did this a couple times on my 7" screen. Unmarry, resets, remarry, resets...usually good to go.

The only glitch I have now is when using the shortcut for camera and changing volume during use, after the radio screen comes back it will either revert to volume before camera was used, or pauses music.

Could be also the fact I'm running OLD ass software on my phone, both OS and apps. Still better than the bs the current OS and apps force, heck the apps do forced background updates (which violate ToC for the App Store) and things change when I'm not using them.

Take the good with the bad I guess.

Unmarry it is what I would suggest also and go from there.

Whenever I see threads of people have all of sudden weird unexplained electronics and software issues and they mention a Tazer, it is worth a look at.
I totally agree…but I had a strange phenomenon….
My tazer has been installed and functioning for almost a year. One day, we realize the “Kill3Honk” wasn’t working. Checked the settings in the Tazer and it was enabled as it always has been.

So, I knew I’d have to unmarry, reboot, and remove the tazer sometime (do some updates and re-install as usual). However…. We were getting ready to go on vacation the following weekend, so I did not have time. I left it in, as everything else was working (start stop, etc).

We drove 10 hours….. parked it for a week and drove 12 hours to get home.

After we got home…. We realized the Kill3Honk was working now. I don’t know why it was working now versus before we left?? The long drive….? Was there updates that occurred? I never saw any prompts or notifications of any updates.

So…who knows… I never took it out.
