So back when I had my Commander, I got the wife to agree to better skids underneath by showing her articles about catalytic converter thefts. Now I have a Gladiator, and the top story in her news feed last night was a gang that hit our local town and made off with a bunch of them. Music to my ears, she then said, "You HAVE to get skids for the Gladiator to cover the converters. HAVE to."

So other than a full belly skid system like Rock Hard's, are there any guards / skids out there that would make it more difficult for a thief to get my cats?

This thread actually came up in a google search I did.

Anyone here had any success locating something to protect the catalytic?
All Ive found so far are the universal Cat Clamp doohickeys.

You won't find anything, the CATs are almost completely above the frame behind the engine. Lift a fender liner or do a search for JL or JT CAT replacement and you'll see where they are.
