Adding an under driver seat subwoofer.
Alpine PWE-S8

UPDATE!!!

Found another mounting solution. Stinger Audio has a amp mounting plate for the JL/JT.

Are you adding this to the base radio or do you have the Alpine premium with sub?

Adding to the OEM 8" Radio and Non-Premium system.

Trying to build a T-harnes from scratch so I don't have to splice into my front speakers.

Wow, $100 difference between the Alpine and Amazon price! I do like the idea but it would only by a matter of time before I got this unit wet and probably ruin it. Call it the "luck of the Irish"!
Outside of my moisture concerns I will still be following because I am interested in the final sound quality. Of all the things breaking down as I get older my hearing isn't one of them.

I have a pile of equipment to go in mine when it warms up. I am going to be glassing a box for the back, but have been giving these a thought as well. Please let us know how they work out for you!

I'm not looking to blow-out the windows, just want to fill out the low end a little.

100% agree. I don't need my ears to bleed to enjoy music (anymore).

Don’t most people splice in by the passenger B pillar for a sub?
Seems just as easy as adding a $50 harness you have to put in.

I did a Kenwood powered sub installed behind the back seat, velco to the back wall.. Not getting submarine d. Also it would have fit in the storage compartment on the back wall behind the drivers side seat, but put it in the center. Stock OE standard head unit.

Good point but I try to stay away from tapping into wires if I don’t have to.

If you get the PSS-23WRA Kit from Alpine it comes with an underseat bracket and harnesses etc

https://www.amazon.com/Alpine-Electronics-PSS-23WRA-Wrangler-Upgraded/dp/B07K43KGPF

Ive got one of these mounted under the passenger seat, and then I used RCA Y-Splitter cables to run signal to a separate cheapo noname brand subwoofer under the drivers seat.

Edit: Splurged on the Alpine kit originally to avoid tapping into factory harnesses, Ive been trying to avoid that wherever possible, making things plug and play instead of cutting / tapping / modifying the OEM to help preserve warranty.
