Sorry to hear that Yetiman615. I know I am sure hoping my PCM comes in on the 30th. @JeepCares opened a case for me as well.

Best of luck on a quick resolution.

They bricked mine yesterday (or so they thought) and ordered a new PCM. Later, they got a notification that techs were having success updating after pulling the radio fuse. I picked up my Jeep this morning.

UPDATE: Just got a call from the dealership. They went ahead and replaced the PCM but the CEL is still on. They said they are now changing a couple of the O2 sensors. Those are due in tomorrow so I am hoping it is ready tomorrow afternoon. They actually had them in stock and FUGLY is ready to be picked up!

Update 07.01.2022

Truck seems to be running fine now. I have posted a PDF of what they did to FUGLY to fix it. Hopefully this information can help someone else down the line.

I hope your situation gets resolved quickly Dark_Iron_Mojave.

Is your issue with the PCM resolved yet. I took my Gladiator in for service on 6/30 and the flash update to the PCM “fried” it. That’s how they described it. My new PCM isn’t expected until 7/18. I found a MOPAR bulletin on here for the the Z37 update. There is a fuse they have to remove for the update to work. I sent this to the dealer, and they plan to try this method this afternoon.

I just saw you’re back up and running. Is it still running ok?

Thank you for posting here! I sent my dealer the service bulletin from Mopar and the service invoice they wrote up on your jeep. The service writer gave it to the technician and my jeep is running again. Jeep wave had expedited my new PCM to be delivered on 18 July but I’m picking my truck up this morning. Thank you again for posting here or I would still be waiting another week and a half on my truck.

Kind of makes me miss the days of setting the points with a feeler gauge or a dwell meter, setting the timing and driving away! New 22 JT-R and no driveability issues so far. I hope it stays that way!
