No trimming needed to fit as I have it currently.
If you want to add the stock skidplate, or the sway skid Artec offers, you will need to trim and possibly move the Mojave reservoirs

No kidding. Last quart of primer I bought was $100.
Cost $2,000 in paint to do my 70 Javelin about 10 years ago.
Was $6,000 to spray my Eagle in red. And I had it all prepped and ready to spray.

Which begs the question of cooling since max tow is a Sport and heat rejection was one of the biggest, if not the biggest, factor in the tow ratings.

I wonder what the 4xe JLU could be with the full float axles.
It's extremely limited at this point, for that matter, even a 2021 Grand Cherokee out-rates the JT Overland tow capacity. The GC will do 6200 pounds and that's just with the GC axles, nothing fancy.
Really bugged me seeing that the Jeep my wife used to own had higher payload and higher towing than my TRUCK but then I get why, it didn't make me feel any better, though. I kept threatening I'd take "her Jeep" if I needed to haul more. The response was always "not with my Jeep". I still hear that with her Wrangler "not with MY Jeep".

The 4xe will get the new axle, but not the new rating. No one actually knows why although it could be payload limited since the 392 and 4xe have already higher stamped gvwr compared to traditional wranglers and they didn't want to recertify that.

Step 1: rent a 2024 Wrangler for a day.
Step 2: swap grilles with your Gladiator.
Step 3: return vehicle to the clueless rental agent the next day.
