I don’t know what happened or how to fix it but this morning my usb c port on the dash just quit. I thought maybe it was the power cord to the iPhone so I bought a new one. Nope and the regular USB port below it is working fine. Using that to power the phone and have carplay going. The usb c is deader than a smelt Anyone have this happen. Is it fixable. Or something .

I haven't had my USB stop but I have had issues with Android Auto. One trick is to unplug the USB fuse and wait a minute or so to let it reset. I am fuzzy on it but I think it is fuse 11 under the hood. If that doesn't work it may be a hardware issue and you may have to change the USB ports out.

The front media port is somewhat self contained. If the USB-C is not work and the USB-A is, then a replacement of the front media port may be needed.

If me, I would get canned air to blow out the USB-C port and then use some electrical contact cleaner spray and with the power off, use a small diameter pipe cleaner doused with the contract cleaner and run it in/out of the USB-C port a few times and check again.
