Usbc flush for iPhone

Saw a post yesterday in a fb group and I can’t find it now but they had a 90degree cord that hooks up for Apple car play in dash that allowed the flap or lid to fully close. Can’t find it on Amazon anywhere either. Does anyone have this or have a link for it?

That works for the newest iPhones but yea, I can't find a lightning version either for older iPhones either.

I used these together but wasn’t happy with results. Too many connections maybe and it kept losing its connection.

i got tired of my media door being open, so i drilled a hole in my center console and ran a 6ft USB cable under my console and behind my infotainment up through another drilled hole in that tray above the screen.

I also replaced my tray with this: RAM® Tough-Track™ for '18-23 Jeep JL/JLU/Gladiator so the drilled hole is hidden.

I removed my center console before drilling and pulled out my infotainment as well. I wasn't drilling blind, i knew what was behind every bit.

You could try this one, remove the cable that comes with it and use a apple usbc to lighting cable.

That is the same one that I bought. You can definitely close the lid to the port. It works great for USB-C charging phones. I have an iPhone 8+ so had to use the lightning adapter. That adapter is not very good. It doesn’t not keep a stable connection.
