Man..... I was planning on line-xing my inner tub but this has me rethinking it. Is there any worry about rust forming between the floor boards and mat if it gets wet a lot? I've taken my doors off this summer and want to get rid of the carpet so it doesn't mold.

I'm worried about it, especially after my JL started leaking. It will be hard to tell if water gets under the Armorlite and it's not easy to remove for drying out.

I have a dog and his hair gets into the carpet and is impossible to get out. And since he is a husky, there is a LOT of it too. And while I am not allergic to dogs at all, he gets pollen on his fur and any of it swirling around can irritate me. It evades the mud mats easily.

And my kid plays a lot of baseball and is always dusty and dirty, that too evades the mats. So does beach sand, biking dirt, crumbs, you name it.

So did the Armorlite full interior today. Not a bad install, 30-60 is generous, plan for 90. I had male torx heads on my seat, their instructions show female, but the normal sockets work fine. Did have female on the under seat storage.

It's a straight forward install, everything fit very well.

Cut so well fits snugly around the under seat vents.

warning, graphic nasty content. I could have vacuumed some of this up but it never gets actually clean. All of this evades the mud mats.

Never gonna get this out of the carpet without seat removal, now will be a quick wipe.

The main offender but my kid is a very close second.

I believe the tubs on our JTs are aluminum, so you'd only have to worry about some of the hardware.

Quick question for those that have installed. Did you remove the two "plugs" that hold the factory liner in place in the rear similar to the front? I'm wondering if I made a mistake by not doing so.

This is what got me! Took me forever to figure out what was going on and made me hate life for a bit haha
I left the front one toward the center console in but loose. I was still able to install the flooring and the seats were very easy to get mounted back up.

Did you end up getting everything back in? If so, any tricks you want to share? I’m hoping to do this next week, so looking up any tips now so it goes smoothly. I’m going to try and put some sound deadening under it too.

For those you that ordered the sound assassin kit, did you order the half kit or strips of some type. I got the Armorlite the other day. I just need the sound assassin now. Thanks in advance.

I went with the half kit for the floor. I did the rear for now but looks like I could cover most of the front with the remainder. I got the strip kit for the top..not much leftover afterwards.

Anyone have pics of the tan? Debating order, and if so stuck between black/tan. I have a Gobi and color matched the dash, but black leather, so probably black.

The tan will look awesome in a Gobi, here's what it looks like in a Gator with PRP seat covers.
