Took delivery of my Sport S in March & loving it.

One caveat though, is that it gets pretty warm inside after a couple of hours driving (normal outside temperature : 65-75 ) & I haven't installed the headliner yet.

FYI: This more of me being a little paranoid due to seeing some catching a fire. Just trying to see if anybody else has experienced this ?

Jeep thing. After driving feel the heat on the transmission tunnel... it'll be really warm. My TJ (2005 Wrangler) will keep a Yeti cup of coffee hot in the cupholder, all day long driving... Jeep even put a heat warning label on the tunnel under the carpet.

Yeah, I went through this too, bad compressor. At 65 to 75 degree outside ambient air temperature, you should be cooling rather nicely. Listen for a hissing sound in the cab when a/c is on, could come an go, good sign of low refrigerant. Could also put ya a thermometer in the vent and monitor discharge temp.

I don't if it's the headliner or not, but I don't ever notice the interior being warm unless I don't have the ac on, or the roof or doors are off. Mine is ice cold (if I want it to be) in the dead of summer.

Mine will stay as cool as I want it to be even in 90 plus temps. The auto function is a little wonky but it usually settles down and keeps it comfortable.

Well, humidity is up 60-80 % though.
Thanks, I'll check that out next.

Yes, same humidity here. Still not normal. I'm just one state above you, and am in Maryland at least a couple of times a week.

Wasn’t there a recall or something about the firewall not properly insulating the heat? Maybe not jeep but I remember somewhere I saw this.
