Mojave’s come with a 1 inch front end lift and wider backspacing on the rims, plus these BFG 37s run small. Haven’t had it loaded down with camping gear but weekend trips to local spots with basic stuff I have had zero rubbing.
Good stuff. Now go flex it, or take it off some sweet jumps and report back for science!

show your girlfriend this one;

I guess I should say, I'm not going to like it. But my girlfriend is going to so not like it, that it won't be a concern to me as it will be avoided. (for now)

They have professional drivers and Valium at the top, right? That way I can get my Jeep back down by having them do it while I sleep in the back.

Apex AutoLYNX on a Mojave is a match made in heaven. Really made me love the truck in all conditions.

The Mojave suspension combined with disconnected sway bar on washboard = haul ass. No electronic Nanny to reconnect it like a Rubicon either.

That's pretty neat piece of equipment. Seems like they'd need locks to prevent accidental spinning or by a malicious character (as if average joe knows what they are to do that ;) ), but I'd guess they're not loose.

You'd feel it's unlocked real quick and could pull over and lock if someone disconnected them. Accidental.....no way.

I can attest to that. In multiple occasions I’ve had my Mojave with Apexs’ unlocked at 70+ miles an hour on some pretty bumpy washboard roads. It is as smooth as riding on paved road.

I gather that. Hells Gate looks scary in driving videos and from the top, but not so bad from the bottom. And hills I've been on look fine, but being on them is another story, whether on foot or in car. Made worse by trying to avoid damage I'm sure.

Speaking of scary, yikes! Engineer Pass. Looks easy, but queasy. Don't think my girlfriend is going to like that.
For perspective, June 1st 2021 we went over cinnamon pass from Silverton to Lake City in an 18' forester loaded to the gills with 160# rtt, three weeks of food/camping gear. Only mods were 15" BFG kO2s and 2" lift. The only difference in the JTR would have been much less driver fatigue and stress on the vehicle. Not having low range and working the clutch hard were the hardest part.

Other trails that same trip stopped the subi where the jt would have had capability to spare.

The gist is that you won't likely need mods, they may just make the experience better. That said, you won't get to see the incredulous faces of modded jeep pilots when they see a family car at the summit.

**humble brag my driving skills**

Not even close. Don't forget you can't get a diesel in a Mojave
I know that. Someone said it couldn’t get good mileage on 35’s, I’m guessing they don’t get good mileage on 33’s either.

If you want to be the coolest guy in town, buy a white Land Rover 110 Defender (Additionally is less e pensive)

You take that back!

If I was going SUV, it'd be Wrangler/Bronco decisions.

Do I have to take it back now, after mentioning Bronco?

Nope. Not great mileage. That's why when I thought you said it could get 25 mpg on stock 33s, I said no way Not even close.

19 on a very good day.
