Got my JK back from the shop today. Thinking about swapping the wheels with my gladiator. Gladiator has 32s, JK has relatively new 33” KO2s on Rubicon wheels. JK is 3.21 gears, the 32s might be better on it.


The JK needed wheel spacers and flat fenders to run the 33s. I’m wondering if I could run 33s on the stock gladiator without those?

Picked mine up from the shop today.
5.13 gears and an ARB air locker installed in the front.

Haven’t had a chance to really get on it yet to see what the acceleration is like with the new gears. I’ll break them in a bit more and then give it a test over the weekend when I go camping.

Check your bolt on your steering knuckle by trackbar, mine used to back off and throw light until i put locktight on it. No problems anymore.

Good guess, it was the bolt on the track bar that had come loose. It must've been a very gradual change because I honestly didn't even notice it. They said my steering wheel was closer to the 10 or 11 o'clock position. They put everything back how it's supposed to be and tightened it up, everything feels so much better now.

Now at least I know to pay attention to that in the future and if it happens again I'll throw Loctite on there

This is a stock Gladiator with skinny 33's (33.1" tall, 255/80/17). I later added a 3/4" level up front.

After a few test fits, I can confirm that you CAN cram the 3 gallon rotopax under the bed cover. Fits nice and slim with the wheel tubs too!

Got my Adam’s 1350 driveshafts in. With that out of the way, I finally got my RockHard 4x4 skids on after over a year. Decided to just do oil pan, belly pan, and gas tank. The resonator pan requires brackets that use a weld nut that is not on my frame.
