I’m just over 31k on my ‘21 JTRD and just did my 7th or 8th service. The first was at 1,500 miles like I usually do.I just checked my records and have done 14 changes in 60k miles. I’m at 20% and will do the 15th one this week.
Save it for a road-trip.Got my second to last Jeep wave free oil change and 5 tire rotation. Probably be my last as I have lost faith in my dealer. Guy asked me to open the hood for him, so I think ok, I can do that for you. then he yelled at me to “STAY IN THE TRUCK SIR!”
Use an orbital buffer. With paint so thin, it only has one side from Jeep, it’s pretty easy to scorch it with one of buffers/polisher on the market. Maybe the ceramic coating helps prevent that? Still a scary tool in the hands of the uneducated.
Nice, and those Methods look sweet too. I’ve been eye balling those for the old JK.Got new tires today. The old 37" Eldorado Extreme Mud Claws lasted 17,000 miles. Rotated them every 3,000 to 4,000 miles to keep them from cupped. Great traction, but just no wear from them.
The new tires are 37's Kenda MT's.

I just did this install last week (metal cloak tie rod/drag link) what a PITA! My ball joint on the pitman arm was friction welded. Once that broke free, install was a breeze.Got the last of the Metalcloak components installed. I think this went easier than expected since I took a lot of measurements prior and generally matched the new components. I still have an alignment scheduled Tuesday to see just how far off I was. Last time I was impressively close so we'll see. I will say that it drives smooth as silk and tracks perfect.

I'd love to see a side view. I really like that tent and it is on my short list for consideration. Nice rig!!!It's fall camping season.
So, I replaced my Rightline Gear truck bed tent with a Smittybilt Overland Gen2 XL. Slowly building out my rig. Ordered the OVS Expedition Truck cap, and waiting for it to ship after it restocks for the Gladiator on September 20th.
The tent was a bear trying to physically lift it up on the rack by myself, but I managed the task without damaging the truck. Seabee enginuity prevailed.
I'm almost ready to hit the western Virginia mountains and Overland Expo east.
