I just checked my records and have done 14 changes in 60k miles. I’m at 20% and will do the 15th one this week.
I’m just over 31k on my ‘21 JTRD and just did my 7th or 8th service. The first was at 1,500 miles like I usually do.

Got my second to last Jeep wave free oil change and 5 tire rotation. Probably be my last as I have lost faith in my dealer. Guy asked me to open the hood for him, so I think ok, I can do that for you. then he yelled at me to “STAY IN THE TRUCK SIR!”
Save it for a road-trip.

With paint so thin, it only has one side from Jeep, it’s pretty easy to scorch it with one of buffers/polisher on the market. Maybe the ceramic coating helps prevent that? Still a scary tool in the hands of the uneducated.
Use an orbital buffer.

Got new tires today. The old 37" Eldorado Extreme Mud Claws lasted 17,000 miles. Rotated them every 3,000 to 4,000 miles to keep them from cupped. Great traction, but just no wear from them.

The new tires are 37's Kenda MT's.

Prime just dropped off my security bypass cable for Jscan, a refrac meter for checking DEF fluid, and new wheels for my creeper.

Nice, and those Methods look sweet too. I’ve been eye balling those for the old JK.

Got the last of the Metalcloak components installed. I think this went easier than expected since I took a lot of measurements prior and generally matched the new components. I still have an alignment scheduled Tuesday to see just how far off I was. Last time I was impressively close so we'll see. I will say that it drives smooth as silk and tracks perfect.

I just did this install last week (metal cloak tie rod/drag link) what a PITA! My ball joint on the pitman arm was friction welded. Once that broke free, install was a breeze.

Side note: You're not using their rocksport stabilzer, but have you noticed an increase in bump steer? I had a bilstein dual stabilzer setup with my OEM tie rod/drag link and had no bump steer with super tight steering, I loved it. I may have to reinstall my dual setup if it will fit on the MC tie rod. The rocksport stabilzer seems incredibly inadequate (unless i got a lemon stabilizer.)

It's fall camping season.

So, I replaced my Rightline Gear truck bed tent with a Smittybilt Overland Gen2 XL. Slowly building out my rig. Ordered the OVS Expedition Truck cap, and waiting for it to ship after it restocks for the Gladiator on September 20th.

The tent was a bear trying to physically lift it up on the rack by myself, but I managed the task without damaging the truck. Seabee enginuity prevailed.

I'm almost ready to hit the western Virginia mountains and Overland Expo east.

Got 37s on last Friday. Saturday I chopped that bracket off the passenger frame rail for clearance. Sunday I did the rear fender chop, which impressively lets it fully tuck the 37. Motobilt fender chop bracket is in the mail, so I'm hoping I get so lucky in the front. 2.5" spring spacer up front with shock extensions and 2" bump stop extensions. .75" rear spring spacer only. G2 1.75" wheel spacers and stock wheels.

I'd love to see a side view. I really like that tent and it is on my short list for consideration. Nice rig!!!
