They look nice for sure, but it appears that they go through the pinch weld like the rock slide steps. Don’t get me wrong. They survived 5 years of heavy wheeling, but I’m not going through this again. The next ones will be frame connection only. I still stand by what I’ve said in the past about the RSE steps being tough. But I guess I pushed them past their limit.
Not sure which ones, but some of those body skin things attach under the frame mounted sliders allowing the use of both. Just adds an extra layer of protection/support for when things go crunch. Think body reinforcement panel.

Prob not the place for this, but a lot of eyes are on this thread haha.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

My truck is in the "championship" of a social media march madness event and I'm going up against a guy that has a Toyota with almost 2200 followers! So if you have socials I would appreciate some love and a vote!

Also @WifesJTMechanic is my spotter in the picture taken on Golden Spike last June in Moab.

Voting is open for 24 hours and started at 9AM EST.

I’m putting frame mounted sliders on. So far Evo looks like a good candidate.
I have White Knuckle. I've beat the shit out of them.

I’ll check those as well. Thanks. Any body mount connection, or just straight frame?

Savvy is making JT stuff now??!! :surprised: gotta go check that out! They weren’t for the longest time.
Their rear bumper is at the top of my list actually. I love that it’s compatible with the Oem receiver. I’m one of those weirdos that tows with a gladiator. I know.

I had their 3” springs many moons ago and I loved them. They rode just like I wanted with 5100s out back and Fox 2.0 in the front of my LJ. Just sent them a message to see if they’re still produced the same.

That bumper is pretty slick. Not really sure of the difference between the 2 options but I like the recessed/hidden d-ring attachments. Hitch is removable too so on for normal use and remove for off roady adventures :like:

Removing the hitch for wheeling is a great idea. Hmm.

Started working on my seat delete, doing my best to copy how goose gear did theirs.
I've been working on it in CAD for awhile and today was the first time putting the measurements to wood.
