For me, if I’m going on a trip or to the beach or to the range, I always take a Rambler or some other insulated cup. Inevitably we stop at a drive through and now we’ve got 3-4 drinks. If you have kids or a dog that needs an insulated bottle, or if you carry a water bottle and another bottle/cup with some other beverage you run out of cup holders quickly. Also people inevitably throw other crap in the cup holders. I don’t store stuff on the dash cubby because it’s taken up by RAM mounts. The door pockets are for my recovery leather gloves, hats, hand wipes for the nasty diesel pumps, umbrellas, etc. There’s not a lot of room in the front of the JL/JT for crap, especially on trips, so the cup holders get filled. Also they’re kind of awkward to reach if your seat is all the way back and you’ve got big drive-thru cups. My RAM mount cup holder is pretty convenient, so I mostly use it now.
I have a Subaru Ascent with 19, yes, 19 cup holders!! So far we have used 10 at a time. (SUV does carry 8 people.)

Couple of weeks ago, entertained changing out my red Rubicon dash panels for something of a different color. Found a listing from @Minty JL selling some Mojave take offs dash panels and decided to buy them and see what I could come up with.

I wanted a green to compliment my Sarge Green body color but was not wanting something exact matching or as glossy. Settled on PPG "Hunter Green" and PPG matte clear coat. Probably to most not owning a Mojave, the dash panels come in a rough texture finish. I decided to just leave that as a base and just did a degrease wipe down. Applied three coats of the Hunter Green and two coats of the matte clear coat.

After waiting for a week and having today off, I decided to install them swapping out the red dash panels this morning. Having been in the dash before and watch a refresher video prior, the whole job took less the 90 minutes to include swapping over the vents.

Happy with the results. I am usually ham fisted when it comes to paint and making it look professional but it came out pretty good in my opinion.

I do IT stuff so I can buy Jeep stuff.
Finally got my Xtrusion Overland rack .... works great with my Bakflip x4s cover and it's solid as a rock. Took just over 2 hours to assemble and install solo working at a leisurely pace. Only one complaint, the bars, rail mounts and corner brackets are all nicely powdercoated in a decent black theme ... but there are 16 connecting plates that are shiny raw aluminum... I would have thought they could powdercoat or anodized those things ..... I might pull off a few at a time and hit them with the spray can.

Just spent 8 hrs washing and waxing the JT in low 90's temps and high humidity. I'm soaked with sweat. Had the mud and dirt from my last trip 3 weeks ago still on the JT.

Tomorrow, I'll clean the inside.

If I believe correctly, there is someone that will paint match your exterior color and you just send them back yours as a core for deposit return after swapping it out. I’ll look for it.

I know of what you are talking about but as I stated, I was not looking for a exact color match.

My JTS didn't come with side steps or rock rails. I was lucky enough to find a take off set of rock rails from a Mojave on Marketplace and they were local. He was asking $100, but after some back & forth he said, "Give me $50 and a case of diet Dew" LOL
They are in great condition with no scuffs or scrapes. I just had to buy 8 M8-1.25x30mm bolts.
Looks so much better

Alu cab tent as well?

Actually it's a china special. Couldn't resist the price. Got it installed for $1k. Helps that I'm in Socal with a huge chinese community nearby. So far I'm pretty satisfied with it. Canvas feels better than my $3k Tuff Stuff Alpha. Weighs in at 140lbs. which isn't too bad. Will see how it holds up over time.
