What’s your impressions of the new grille, so far? Just curious since I’m considering doing the same for my Mojave.
I actually like the gray accents, and one thing I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned but it seems that it raises the front cam up at least an inch or so. My front cam sees over my small oval bar better. I also have a winch sitting to install soon, I’ve installed several winches on JL and Jts and the cables are tight so if this helps I’ll be more then happy.

This past week I finally got the front end lighting completely dialed in!! (So glad to be done with the Halogens....)

- Beamtech LED bulbs for headlight
- Alla LED bulbs for turn signals and running lights
- Oracle Pre-Runner lights tied into the marker lights - mounted in the grill
- Baja Designs Squadron pod LED's with spot/flood to replace fogs

WOW!!!!!!!!!!

What an awesome difference.

Pedal Monster took less then 10 minutes to install, and would probably take less to uninstall so not worried about the warranty.
Cool! I’m doing the Derringer too which complicates things a bit.

I often run with the half doors and the safari top during this time of year. Ive had both the bestop cover and the MOPAR cover.

The Mopar was okay, but I wasnt as impressed with it and didnt like the metal clips.

The Bestop cover was well made and I liked the material and feel of it, as well as the plastic clips that dont scratch the paint when I throw it over the top. My ONLY complaint with the Bestop is that it didnt completely cover the rear portion behind the seats. It covered most of it, but a stiff wind would easily blow the cover into the vehicle and water could leak inside in a storm.

I was looking at the rain gear cover and just didnt want to spend the money...and I wasnt a fan of the velfro over the mirrors. So I decided to try and alter the bestop cover on my own.

There is a gap if sorts in the rear portion where fabric could be attached and would run behind the canin between it and the bed. Effectively sealing off the area i am concerned with.

I got some waterproof tarp from amazon, cut it to size, hand sewed it on. Then used tent sealer/adhesive to make sure the seam was secured and wouldn't dribble into the cab at all.

Overall i am pleased with the final result. For less than $50 and some time I was able to make what I already have work.

This is the Jeep way.

installed rear mud flaps. Hopefully Highway patrol will leave me alone now.

Nothing was missed. These are Rokblokz mud flaps in the large/wide version. I chose them because they easily detach for off-roading. I haven't found any flaps that are full coverage expect maybe rock tamers, which I wasn't interested in. I will probably add some additional coverage in the future.

Maybe find some duelly truck mudflaps and make a bracket for them.

The correct solution would be to find wheels with the correct offset and get them back in closer to the truck where they should be.
it’s a 70” wide axle which has a lot more benefits than a full coverage mud flap
