Got the winch install all buttoned up. Grimm mount went on no problem but was a little more work than the Maximus. There is definitely more room for the winch cables with the 2024 grill, but I don’t think removing the grill will be much easier than before.

Mine started doing the exact same thing. I've been able to push mine back together to close it for now.

Installed Sound Assasin strips and HotHead Headliners. It was supposed to be a two-man job to remove the hardtop off the gladiator but I just flipped it over onto the tonneau cover. Installed everything and flipped it back on.

Finally installed 35’s to help fill the wheel wells, and then recalibrated my speedometer. Wrestling these E1 rated tires onto my new wheels was tough, but worth every drop of sweat! Only broke one tpms ready valve stem… good thing they’re so cheap :like:

Installed a Tazer mini and the extension cable.

With the location of the SGW and add in the premium audio, that is almost impossible to get to. ZAutomotive really just should charge $30 more and include the cable with every Tazer JL mini. I can't imagine having to do this job more than once.

Looks great. The cap as well. IMO, the Gladiator looks better with a bed cap.

Installed a Baxter oil filter cartridge to spin on adapter (top photo) and a J&L oil catch can (lower photo). Had to mount the catch can in a location other than the manufacturer’s suggested spot as the ARB compressor chuck and filter mount occupies all the space where the catch can would typically be mounted. Went smoothly with the supplied hose from the can to the intake manifold being just long enough. Due to its alternate location I will not be able to remove the oil catch reservoir from the body of the device without removing the mounting bolt on the body but that’s only about a 2 minute inconvenience.
For both devices, I drank the Kool-Aid offered by the manufacturers. Avoiding a “dry start” by using the Baxter device makes sense to me, if in fact the product works as advertised. Removing much of the aerosolized oil vapor from the crankcase before that air is dumped into the intake makes sense as well, if in fact the catch van operates as described.
I am hoping those who know more about how engines work will comment so we can all learn something.

Got towed to dealership after total loss of power while sitting at traffic light. Busy intersection, rush hour, etc, etc.
40’s may look cool but hard to push ?
Assuming this is related to aux battery but unknown at this point.

Wow, that is some soft compound. Looks like there is a split happening in the next lower lug in the last picture. Guess I know what tires to stay away from now... That sucks...

Per the owners manual, not suppose to tow one end up unless the other end is on a wheel dolly.

good to know. Hope i can remember that if I ever need a tow. I'm afraid most tow companies won't know/care.

This is what I thought. Was wondering because of pic above, jeep being towed in reverse with front wheels on the ground.
