Tread Lightly Four Wheel Drive Way, Ocala Fl. Super tight there, pinstripes galore. Not a very challenging BOH other than hearing the constant brush scraping the paint, that was by far the most difficult part lol.
I don’t know when I’ll get that far away to do that one, but eventually. 30 hour drive.

Looking for gladiator
I'll keep that in mind.

Right now I need rock rails/steps. I have a special needs 17 year old who is 4' 10". She can get in and out, but it's harder than it would be with a step.

Other than that, I don't feel the need to do too much to it right now. I've thought about swapping my JK Wrangler's rims. It has Rubicon rims with 33" KO2s on it. I think I'm ordering a Bulletpoint phone and action camera mount on payday. I need something to hold my phone so I can look at my map while off roading.
They’re not for rock crawling, but these mopar running boards have been great for me. Combine them with Weathertech mud flaps and the combo keeps mud and snow off the truck too.

I’ve no doubt they are nice but they are a bit out of my budget. I’m aiming more around the $1200 range.

Ace’s sliders look great but I’m worried they won’t be effective enough ad a step for my daughter.

Metal cloak is a bit more expensive and they need to be coated, but I think they will work better as a step.

I’ve also looked at Evo bomber rails; less expensive than the others and also need to be painted.

rock hard rails angled down have a great reputation but again, I’m worried they won’t be a good enough step

finally the LOD Destroyers look like they be what we need. They look like they offer a good step and good side protection.
On sale right now.

after owning a jeep wrangler for 8 years, i cannot believe i never had heard of or got a Sunrider...removing and replacing those darn freedom panels was such a chore that i rarely did it....so immediately upon my Gladiator purchase i ordered the Sunrider....and wow, the ease AND FUN of having the Sunrider has made my 9 month old Gladiator 10 times more awesome....it seriously is the best investment yet!!!
Yeah, it's the best of both worlds IMO. Benefits of hard top with the ease and thrill of a soft top.

Nothing against the Sunride, looks like a great product, but the panels fit easily in the backseat. Pretty quick....

I’ve admittedly never tried that. But there are kids in the back. :) so I love my sunrider. The panels go back on in the winter.

Well you'll have a long haul to the Jerico BOH up in NH, that's currently the most eastern BOH to grab. Its about an hour from my Dad's house so the next time I'm up in Maine I will knock it out.

yes, they definitely do fit perfectly...but the problem is that if you are on the road or on a road trip on the freeway and it begins to rain you have to quickly stop, get out, put them back on and then when it gets sunny minutes later you have to stop and take them back off...so for ME personally what would happen is that i just would hardly ever take them off. Plus like WH said above, if you have people in the back, which i often do, you don't have a way to store them like that...I do love the hard top so don't get me wrong...but oh my lord my jeep experience has become so much more enjoyable, less work, stress free and FUN having the Sunrider...
seriously cannot say enough about it!!!

True. But I can open or close the sunrider without getting out from the truck, like at a traffic stop light.

Great parts. My suggestion is add the 4 on the frame side as well. I started with the axle side and shocks as well, both get hit a lot. I’m glad I have all ten spots covered.
