It was for me as well, as I have two good friends with traditional nomads. I had witnessed how nice they are. The larger motivation for me was valve stem protection. I’d broken multiples on trails and was sick of flats for that reason. The modular rash rings on these are fantastic. I love that I can replace one of 6 pieces, instead of the whole ring. I keep a few in the Jeep when wheeling. They’re only $6 each to replace a piece.
The only thing I am concerned about with them is the propritery valve stem style. I have seen a few videos of people breaking them off and not having an easy replacement at a local shop. but thats also in some hard core stuff

The valve stem isn’t proprietary at all. Any tire shop can throw a new stem in anytime without issue. I’m using Oem TPMS valves actually. They just put them inside a protective housing. The housing itself is mostly bulletproof, but is replaceable with just one 27mm box wrench. I installed mine myself before having tires mounted.

I bent a sway bar link on some rocks, seems like that rear antirock is coming sooner than planned.

I asked them those exact questions. I really didn’t want black. I was worried about these, but they’re amazing. What color is your JT? Edit, I now see it’s blue. They’d look great. If you were closer, I’d let you out one on yours. If you pass through Colorado, let me know.
Thanks for answering all my questions :)... I'm undecided on what route to go, but the deflater feature of the Tera Flex wheels is a huge motivator.
Just a matter of opinion here but I honestly think bronze on your hydro would look super sweet. I've seen that combo on my buddies blue 4 runner and Tacoma and it really pops. I've been running the bronze split spokes for over a year now on my white gladiator and by far my favorite truck wheels to date and I've had several ones over the years. The air down feature works perfect and such a convenience off roading.

I carry extra housings for both the deflator and inflater (valve stem) sides. Just in case...

Thanks, seriously considering it.

The red calipers are a nice touch.

I have an extra complete deflator. It would be pretty hard to hit the black housing, but I guess it’s possible. Maybe I’ll order one the next time I need more rash ring sections.

Thanks brother. Glad you noticed. And keeps the brake dust off of the wheels.
I recently put Powerstop z36 rotors and pads on, and they don’t leave brake dust thankfully. It’s a basic upgrade, but way better than stock for towing and mountain driving. Someday I’ll go for a full big brake upgrade.

Finally installed some BFG KO2 37s. So far no signs of rubbing even at full flex and steering at lock. Seems to go OK with the Rubicon 4.10 gears but a re gear would probably make it go better.

I'm de-badging the JT. All was going well until I found the alignment holes underneath the "J" & "P" on the tailgate.

I'll post up pics of my solution to this unexpected development soon.
