Finally got around to replacing my factory incandescents with the Oculus Bi-LED Headlights and Tail lights I had ordered from Quadratec over labor day weekend. With the fuse box in a different location than the gasser, I had plenty of lead to wire it cleanly.

Looks great. Will see how the work in the long run.

Installed Combat Offroad Tail Gunners.....love the appearance and fit! They will need about 1/8" of gasket around them to make them weathertight against the body, though.

I installed a Dana Advantek nodular iron rear differential cover and filled it up with Valvoline 75w140 gear oil. Next up will be to install one on the front. I will probably get around to that this weekend.

Swapped out the Bak Revolver X4s for the OVS Expedition Canopy, the cargo bars were on back order so I built my own rack out of SuperStrut and mounted my SB Overlander XL Gen2 tent and my wife surprised me with a poop tent. So I got it all mounted just in time for the weekend excursion.

New (to me) sliders… a lot girthier than the stock ones.

Hit them with a nice coat of bed liner before installation. Easier to touch up as they get scraped

Installed my Unofficial Use Only door pockets today. They are a nice upgrade from the nets.

Moved my Renogy solar panel to a Frankenstein Front Runner roof rack. FR wanted to sell me a $1300 basket system and wouldn’t sell me the uprights . I found a retailer that would. I had the cross bars and deflector so total cost was $100ish. If that wasn’t kludg’y enough I had to mount the rear passenger side to the awning as there was no clearance for the upright. I used a leftover OVS awning bracket for that. I 3D printed cushion/spacers out of TPU to allow some flex and plastic washers to allow the awning side to slide back and forth on the awning mount as the bed moves separately from the cab. I guess I’ll see if this is enough to protect the rain gutters. So far so good.

Since I haven't even left the house, I'll post a driveway pic. Since the Jeep is black, I'm not 100% sold on the textured look of the tail lights.....seriously thinking about wrapping in some 3M Carbon Fiber that I have here (which would at least have some gloss) or get some gloss black wrap on them. I will say that the current finish matches the MetalCloak bumper on the front, but hits me wrong seeing it on the back surrounded by black paint.

Do those stay on well? I´ve got some cheap ones but they don´t stay on very well. If someone kicks them, they fall off. Those look great!
