Looks fantastic! I’m considering something very similar. Does yours still fit in the garage shown?

Thanks. Haven’t tried yet. The garage in the after lift and tires picture wasn’t mine so didn’t even try. Mine is a mess right now I’ll try in a few days, but it looks like it will just it will be really close for sure.

Prepped my next venture motorsports rear diff cover.

I think this (although pricey) is one of the best bang for the buck mods I did for my JT.
I had multiple rear pinion issues from banging it around on rocks until I added this skid plate.
Not a single problem since, could be I got better at dragging the rear end around on things, but I credit the skid plate.

You may need an extra set of hands to install it, I borrowed a neighbor to help hold things in place so that I could get all the threads started.

I’ve had mine off a couple of times. I find that loosely threading the forward support before threading the diff cover bolts, makes it easy to do alone.

Thanks for the tips guys. Hopefully I get the chance this week to install. The spacer arrives Wednesday, mean while paint is hardening.

There's a Cerakote trim kit you can buy from Walmart, Ace H, Amazon that will bring the trim right back to looking new and it will stay that way for more than a year. It shines right up and seals it.

This stuff works great. :like:

You’re patient and smart enough to let it sit. I end up reinstalling things that are still tacky. I tend to run out of daylight.

Since retiring, I find it much easier to be patient, I have so much more time to do things. Yet I feel busier than when I was working if that even makes sense...

Just curious. What part of FL? Hope to retire in a couple of years or so and we may move down there. Have one of the kids in Inverness, one moving to Panama City spring/summer on 2025 and another possibly moving somewhere (not sure of location yet) in FL in 2025 to continue to his medical practice. Hope to find some fellow Gladiator peeps when/if we move there.

Finished installing a Midland MXT575 GMRS radio. I was able to get a discount code by contacting and ordering direct from Midland.

Update 11-18-24. I relocated the radio to under the seat and used an extension cable and coupler to have a convenient port on the side of the center console. The seat can mover quite a bit more forward (for smaller family members).
