Absolutely. It’s so great.Completely agree. I pop mine open every afternoon after work for the ride home. Doesn't get any easier to enjoy some fresh air.

Open the center rear window, to eliminate the wind buffeting. Use mine almost daily down here in South Texas, I just have to wear a hat not to sunburn my bald head.Had a tech of mine up in VA this past week and he picked up a Mopar Sunrider from a member used for me while he was up there. Installed it this morning.

I have to open the rear window a bit anyway just with the panels off - so why would this be different, eh?Open the center rear window, to eliminate the wind buffeting. Use mine almost daily down here in South Texas, I just have to wear a hat not to sunburn my bald head.
Valid points. Originally being from the land of Bestop, I saw lots of their early prototypes on their daily drivers, looked at the retractable before production, and agree it took up a lot of real estate.I have to open the rear window a bit anyway just with the panels off - so why would this be different, eh?
That's the problem I'm thinking of - the sun bearing down on my head with thin hair.
I'm still trying to find a shade solution like the Spiderweb sunshade was - but it prevents easy access to the latches.
I do not at all care for the Bestop screen - it takes up too much space. I'd rather have something there that was always there, like the sunshade in my 22 was. (and it added some color to the ceiling inside)
I really really wish someone made a screen/shade solution for these that worked with the sunrider. Their solution is just too bulky and covers part of the opening with the big roller.
Other issue I have is that I'm 6'5" tall, so inside roof space is tight for me already. Seat jackers adjust the seat back so I'm not hitting my head on the sound bar, but I'm sure I would hit my head on the retracting screen.I have to open the rear window a bit anyway just with the panels off - so why would this be different, eh?

I guess that sort of helps explain the forum screen name.........Other issue I have is that I'm 6'5" tall, so inside roof space is tight for me already. Seat jackers adjust the seat back so I'm not hitting my head on the sound bar, but I'm sure I would hit my head on the retracting screen.
Oh yeah. Trust me.I guess that sort of helps explain the forum screen name.........
In the long run I have found that going the cheap route has usually more than doubled the cost of whatever I was doing.Tell me about it. Just ordered a EVO "Quarter Pounder".
Being cheap gets expensive.
From the outside looking in, it does take up more room. But from the drivers seat, when retracted it is as unnoticeable as the rear portion of the hardtop. That may be subjective for those in the ‘mighty tall’ strata.Valid points. I'm 6'5" tall as well and have the screen. It's not an issue. I've never even had that cross my mind.Other issue I have is that I'm 6'5" tall, so inside roof space is tight for me already. That's great to know. My Mr Clean haircut will appreciate thatI'm 6'5" tall as well and have the screen. It's not an issue. I've never even had that cross my mind.
Looks good. What are the wheels and the tire size?Added a ICON 2.5” stsge2 suspension lift with metslcloak front rear adjustable track bars and steering support.![]()
same here just under 6’5”… the Gladiator is not really built for our height.Other issue I have is that I'm 6'5" tall, so inside roof space is tight for me already.
