I should have taken a picture but I was so dumbfounded. My Badlands Apex winch had crapped out on me on an easy flat pull, then marginally worked later enough to get where I could loop the line on the bumper. Took the cover off, relay terminals had never been bolted to the winch terminals. Visited a coffee can in my shed, back in action

Fun. I’m glad you weren’t in the side of a mountain trusting it with your life, or the recovery of your Jeep. Warn for the win. :)

Finished out my winch install with the American Adventure Labs switch mount I received recently. Just a FYI with anybody that tries to use the battery cable cut off switch included with the APEX BADLANDS winch, it will not fit without egging a couple of holes on the switch mount. The Blue Sea Systems 6006 series switches will fit without issue.

Installed my Wizzard parts from Epic. And my bumper backplates from Utah Design Foundry.
The wizard is pretty cool. I can't wait to get my Jeep back to install the ground and move more stuff over.

I like it. Better than a spaghetti mess coming off the positive and negative terminals.

I’m unfamiliar. Got a link? I have a couple electrical accessories.

I bought a few of these bags two years ago. It's a light weight bag but I used one of them for come alongs and one for tools. Not even a scratch or tear in two years. But they fold up really nice and compact when not in use. @RudeJeepin, Dave posted the link above. The price hasn't changed since I bought mine.

Picked up the Metalcloak dead pedal from FedEx. Should get it on this weekend, along with the new front winch and bumper. After that, I’ll start on the new exhaust system…

I have a manual transmission, so unfortunately no room for a dead pedal. That's one of my things that I wish I could have, but the narrow footwell won't let that happen. Maybe when my legs stop working I'll get an auto gladiator. 🤣

I dont get those foot rest any way.. it dont rest the foot it just holds your toes up. And places pressure on your heal bone.
Of those of you that have standards sow of hands as to how many shift and then leave toes on the pedal after reaching cruising speed ? Or does foot go back on the floor ?
Riding with toes on pedal will actually lead to problems .
So what does this " dead pedal" simulate ? Nothing absolutely 💯 % nothing.
