YES!!! I’ve had mine since July of 21 and the hard top has never been off. Front doors and sunrider open is as far as I’ve gotten it. I need to though.

My project today is to get the gantry crane out of the living room. It’ll be handy in the garage, and I’m totally using for this first.
Honestly, I've never had my '22s top off and probably never will. At some point I'm sure I'll end up with the doors off, maybe. We do take our dog with us most of the time, so not sure about front doors of with rear doors on. Wish those fancy factory half doors weren't so dang expensive.
My wife has a 21 JLURD, and she's been talking about wanting to take the top of her Jeep. (Had to change the way I typed that out, didn't want to give anybody any ideas now.😎) She has a spider shade type thing and takes her freedom panels off. Again, need half doors. Both Jeeps are the same color. I could maybe spread the usage and price out between 2 Jeeps, but still, that price.
I used to take the top of my CJ5 all the time, and putting a bikini top on it. Ended up selling the Acme hardtop and got a Supertop for it. Then I would usually just take all the windows out and the doors off. Wife didn't mind doors off around town. Once the speed got above 35 or so, she wasn't enthused. Luckily the Supertop had 2 piece front doors.
I prefer something over my head. Don't like the sun bearing down on me. Maybe I just need to get a spider shade for the Gladiator. Then the top might come off.
I imagine at some point the tops and doors will come off both Jeeps. If for no other reason, than to just say they did.

Yes, I know, some people say, "if your not gonna take the doors and top off, why get a Jeep then?" Well, I just wanted one, so I got a Wrangler. Then I let the wife drive it for a week or so. She wouldn't give it back, so I got the Gladiator, cause I wanted a Jeep and a pickup.

the hard top is not heavy at all, awkward maybe.
It’s the soft topper behind it, but I think I’ll need to fold it down to get it off. Are the only bolts around the bottom edge?

I’m with you. It’s more to say that I’ve done it. If I can find an easy way to do it, I might do it every now and then around the local area. But I’ll never go on a trip with it off. Maybe a trail, if it’s not dusty, but probably not. The kids would love it, but I agree. I loved my cj7 most with bikini top and no doors.

Thanks. I obviously need to remove the sunrider as well, at least until the rear is off from what I’ve read.

Seen this video of a guy with a bed rack, he came off via the side...interesting concept I haven't tried personally but might work easier for you with the topper, if you are ever without the crane.

This is correct to the best of my recollection.

There’s no way it’s getting high enough to clear the topper, but if I fold it down it will easily.
One man hardtop removal technique...:

The original hulk was so much better.

Dan, I took my hardtop off when swapping with a guy for his untinted rear window,l top, might weigh fifty pounds. I think soft topper would be easy but does take two. I’ll stop by!….Jack

I have a tonneau cover so I put down a moving blanket, unbolt lay it back on then slide it to the tail gate, I could pick it up my self but this year my dad was over we just picked it up and onto a pair of the cheap wood Hobo freight furniture dollys

So did the user name come from the sticker or the sticker from the user name?
I kept trying to think of something to put on those custom text stickers, but it never even crossed my mind that my handle would work.

To my Gladiator: Today I used temp-vinyl to cover the safety decals on my visors and finished installing my Kicker sub.
Yes, I know, with a little work I could scrub the decals off, but I had the extra vinyl and this will do for now.
