Welp, dielectric grease on the FAD plug didn't fix the service 4x4 light. I noticed that the core of the plug and connection itself is solid and doesn't wiggle, but the plastic around the outside does. Anyone elses wiggle or is mine broken?

It was fine yesterday on the way to work when it was dry out, but then it was raining good on the way home and started doing it again. It doesn't come on when cruising on the highway, but slow speeds its on and off over and over.

As per usual what should be an easy bolt on mod might have turned into something more than I wanted. So I installed the drivers side MetalCloak reinforcement bracket. When torquing the sway bar bolt I couldn’t get it to 80 ft lbs. Felt like I might have broke the capture nut, but it’s tight enough for now. Saw someone on YouTube do the same thing and hoped I wouldn’t do it also, but I might have. Passenger side was a breeze.

Hmm interesting.. does yours have lockers ? It may not be the FAD may be ine of the locker plug in's

Yes. I'll check those but my understanding is if its lockers you get a different message. Can't recall what message.

Yes. I'll check those but my understanding is if its lockers you get a different message. Can't recall what message.
I may not be incorrect but after ling time of them being in a dirty state ( usually full of metal particles) that it will say something similar like that.

Today was fluid change day. Oil, transmission (manual), diffs and then adjusted the parking brake shoes, and finally adjusted the slack in the cables. Saved about $350 doing everything myself. I used enough brake cleaner for cleanup that I'm smelling colors and hearing with my eyes 👀. Everything is good for a while.
