Oil change and fuel filter change. Man I gotta find a cheaper place for factory filters other than the dealer!
208 bucks for the 2 filters!! Plus then 106 for oil.

Is this 3.6l gas or the Diesel? I have not changed the fuel filter yet, and need to do so, and wondering where it's located on the gas engine. Thanks

Took the back hard top off for the first time on my 2024. Have a good week or so ahead of me with no rain. Of course the wife doesn't like my storage location so I may not make it through the whole duration

Also tried out the mopar cab cover that's been sitting collecting dust for many months. For my uses I really like it as I am just throwing it on if i'm parked for more than 30 min. Super light, packs small, and goes on quick. But I can see why its not good for much other than keeping bird poop and leaves out. Doubt it would keep rain out well I had a MasterTop for my 2022 but it was too bulky and a pain to put on for short parks.

Oh I also stripped mine down this morning. First time I removed the top without a helping hand. A bit awkward but not impossible.

Installed Metalcloak rear lower control arms, Teraflex rear geometry correction brackets, Metalcloak front upper and lower arms their 3.5” springs.

Installed MetalCloak's geobrackets, their front tract bar Relocation bracket, front track bar support brace. Rear trackbar Relocation bracket. Replace the Rubicon Fox shocks and strus, and installed AEV's shocks, struts, and Steering Dampner. Removed the MC shock and strut extension brackets.
I might list those if there's any interest in them.

I had a visitor while I was wrenching. Ol wild Peter Cottontail he didn't care that I was even there, he got as close as 2ft from me. We've been actively working on relationship building skills.

Didn't get to the MC Draglink Flip and Tie Rod Bar installation, maybe in two weekends. Before my Overland East trip weekend.

Thanks for that info, mine should be cast iron too, as I have the JTRD and they are coated in black enamel.

Finally got the motor mount in. It took lifting the engine past the point of pushing up on the firewall wire chase. I did not enjoy this. Had to buy hundreds in tools and get a neighbor to help. It’s a two person thankless job for sure. Still need to put everything back together tomorrow, but at least both mounts are secure, and the dip stick tube is back in.

Rival4x4 used my Jeep to install a set of skid plates last night that they will be releasing for the Gladiator. Very happy with how they came out!

Forest roads, hail storms , trails with mud and rock ,high winds and tree limbs , hedge apples , walnuts. All of which have been successfully repelled via the hardtop.

He's in L.A. So, ghetto rats , illegal aliens, junkies, the homeless...
