Electrically wire - or some have made a manual setup to replace the motor.How about an electronic sway disconnect? There are 2 local to me on fakebook. One is $300 and the other is $500. You could easily wire it up to an aux switch and disconnect it anytime you wanted.
Kinda wish i had that kind of control over mine.
But wiring electrically shouldn't be a problem. Wouldn't be hard to figure out and doesn't need to be integrated with the truck.
