Although the Harbor Freight Road Shock lights come with a vinyl covering, I added the corrugated wire loom and heat shrunk the ends for a more matched look to the wiring on the winch. Also did some quick touch ups on the rock rails from the last trip from Black Bear and Kane Creek.

Those look great! How long did it take you to install?

Around 3-4 hours. Liners needed trimming for the Mojave bump stops and bypass shock hoses. Not hard just detailed to keep the fit looking good. The Metalcloak chop was easy.

Finally got around to installing my Rough Country power steps. Holy crap, that took some effort. Even with a car lift! I don't go off road very much, so they are perfect for me. The step up into the cab is just right.

I don't recall if I ever posted pics of how the accessory rail came out, how it's being used, and how I made a bulletpoint mount work, as well as the stock MOPAR phone mount for the rail.

There's a fun little story behind that smaller metallic blue duck on the left here.........
I was standing gassing up, cold wind so coat hood up staying warm and I heard a woman behind me say "sir, sir, this is for you" and I turned and there was a lady with two little kids by her side giggling and laughing and when I accepted the duck and said "thank you", those kids were so happy, you could hear them as they went all the way back to their vehicle clear on the other side of the station. Both of those kids were grinning ear to ear.

Anyway I ordered a second set of front sway arm end links as the first set that cam in on the 2nd when I went to put them on Sat. Didn't fit because the bolt won't go through the hole in the front sway bar.

Has anyone else had this happen . They was a cheap set to get me past the Christmas season. RSO brand. It really rubbed me the wrong way too. How can they sell stuff like that .

My wife is into it - I thought I was, but she takes it to new levels. She's going to be really really really unhappy if she accepts the new Jeep with the recon package and finds out her custom spare tire cover I get her won't fit.
This year, with my surgeries, all of the trips and the depressing loss of two favorite cats, even she isn't up to it and put up one tree instead of three.

Into what? Decorations? Me either. Every 15 years or so I’ll put a couple strings up. Then get annoyed at having to take them down.

I solved that issue of not being able to be on the roof any more and last time my son visited.............the colors move along the string.
