. My favorite part is that I dont have to worry about lights near my windshield whistling from the wind.
That’s the biggest thing that I was thinking about. Usually not a fan of lights right over the windshield either. They tend to annoy my eyes.

Skid is cleaned and painted. Lipstick on a pig at best, but it will show me how bad the pinion seal drip is. All back together and filled up with Revolution 80w-90.

Who makes that light bar and do you get any backwash from the windshield once it’s on?
I have the split bar system from Quadratech [due to fancy rear view mirror with Jeep Connect on it]. It works great---but will never be as good as the lights you can mount outside the vehicle. But is also doesn't look stupid [IMO], increase drag, or make a whistling noise.

If you're not going to do a lot of nightly rock climbing and trails at night but just need it occasionally and to read street signs, attract attention etc, then I highly recommend it.

I’m still a number light person. But I can see the appeal.

My Renegade was black. One thing about black vehicles. When they are clean, they sure are pretty. I could wash/wax mine and it gleamed. Leave it in the driveway overnight, when you walk out, you're like "What happened ??". All that work for naught.

And HOT. I live in Texas where it get's hotter than the doorknob to Hell. The days of me owning a black vehicle are DONE.

But when clean....yeah, they look GOOD.

I got mine last year after the first of the year for a smokin deal. My favorite part is that I dont have to worry about lights near my windshield whistling from the wind.

Tell me about your front bumper... Wife wants a steel front bumper w/ winch. My question is, does is work with the Rubicon front Tcase skid? We have Roadmaster towing set up to tow the Glad behind the motorhome and I need the factory T-case skid which got modified to adapt for the Roadmaster tow adapters to still be able to be used... tia.

Hand painted the calipers today. It took way more time than expected.

Curious, just how hot does that doorknob get? I have a feeling I'll be shown that door someday

That’d be my guess.
OK. The skid plate at the front that attaches to the bottom of the factory bumper. Figured that helped protect the front pumpkin...
