I wouldn’t. I don’t want that silicone mixing with the grease. They aren’t that hard to just pull onto the bell. Worst case use a little RCV grease. That’s what’s in there anyway.Use silicone spray.

I had XM for some time and canceled it. Was during my short commute days though.I feel for you...for the last 28 years, my commute varied from 90 minutes to over 2 hours, each way !! And my travels were East/West. Sun in your face each way, sucked !! Now that I'm retired, I think I'm on the same tank of gas for over a week now. I used to fill up 2, sometimes 3 times a week. That takes some getting used to.
For me, the lifesaver in sitting behind the wheel for so long was XM radio. I couldn't take OTA radio anymore, the DJ's were driving me bat-crap crazy with all their stupid comments, pranks, etc.. And then all the commercials, for minutes at a time. I did do the USB route, but then I only hear songs that I already knew because I'm the one that burned it. With XM, you'll hear a song from high school that you totally forgot you loved, you couldn't burn it because you forgot it !! But you still knew ALL the words !! Spotify, Pandora, etc., were options, but as much as I was behind the wheel, I was sucking up data FAST. I have Unlimited in data, but it does slow down after X amount of gigs.
Some, well most, do not like satellite radio. They claim, "I am NOT going to pay to listen to the radio !!". Okay, but you'll pay dearly to watch TV ?? That ain't free anymore, be it cable/satellite/streaming, etc.. Sure you can OTA television, too, but who does that nowadays ??
For me it was a sanity-saver and worth every dime.
I've been a listener since 2009. Back then they had a "lifetime" subscription; right around 300 bucks. I said nay-nay, I'd rather pay the (I think) 6.99 a month.I had XM for some time and canceled it. Was during my short commute days though.
Maybe I'll re-up it. I liked it a lot.
To your point, I also can't stand most radio personalities on OTA radio. I don't care about the shenanigans.
I've been listening to podcasts back and forth so far. As a NASCAR fan there tends to be plenty through the week during race season to listen to.
May go back to audio books as well at some point.
Use the old skool Marine Corps scrub brush, a.k.a. your toothbrush.Accented my plastic part fade today. Meaning I gave it a good wash and paste wax. Do have a plan for the plastic parts but that’s still in the works. We’ll see how it goes.
Side note: if you have a steel bed cap with that slightly textured paint on it don’t use paste wax unless you have Popeye arms. My elbows ran out of grease. I’m going to have to look for a buffing pad to get it all off of there. Got a buffer for Christmas a couple years back that I haven’t even taken out of the box. Won’t use it on regular paint because I’m not a fan of swirls.
Can I use my wife’s instead?Use the old skool Marine Corps scrub brush, a.k.a. your toothbrush.

I'm with you. I enjoy my SiriusXM, especially on out of town long drives. 70's, 80's and Nascar (during racing season) are my favorites. Every time it comes up for renewal I get them to give me a good deal. Currently only paying $7.07 total monthly.I feel for you...for the last 28 years, my commute varied from 90 minutes to over 2 hours, each way !! And my travels were East/West. I'm with you on the Nascar podcast. I have about 6 different ones I listen to each week. I really miss those in the off season. Glad it's back and it will be interesting to see how the points system works out this year. It should be better and reward the most deserving driver as the champion.I had XM for some time and canceled it. Was during my short commute days though.

Yep plus Door Bumper Clear and Kevin Harvick (even though I'm not a huge fan of his but the podcast can be pretty good.)For sure.

Just to name a few
Very happy to see the new format and we'll get a much more valid championship as a result.
The divider down the middle takes up a lot of space.Interesting. I have the single drawer and wish I had the double drawer.
I didn’t realize that. I’ve only seen the 2 drawer system in pictures and felt the 2 drawers would allow for better organization. Thanks for pointing out the divider issue. The divider down the middle takes up a lot of space.
I always give them a credit card that won’t be good 13 months later. Then they try to charge me for the renewal at full price. It doesn’t work. Then they call or email that the renewal needs a new payment method. I call and tell them I’ll pay what I did last year, or I’ll cancel. It’s worked every single time. Last year I got them to cover two cars for around $120 for a year.I'm with you.
