Badass.... I've had my eyes on these in Bright White... How hard were they to install?
Very easy!! Just follow along with the YouTube video and it’s pretty intuitive. They keep getting their hands in the way of what they’re doing, but once you have it in your hands it all makes sense. Don’t worry if you lose the tiny zip ties they send. Run of the mill zip ties will work just fine. If the transfer case lever doesn’t want to come off undo that screw on it all the way out. I thought mine was out enough and it wasn’t. Broke the clips trying to get it out but I don’t intend on putting the old one back on so oh well.

Hope you like but there is zero chance I am cutting on the body or drilling holes and adding rivnuts. All of that will lead to breakage cracks and rusting on the parts that aren’t aluminum. I never been a fan of that . Hope it works out for you.

I did not find any inner fenders that don't require the use of rivnuts, and I couldn't reuse my stock ones. I'd rather protect my engine from debris, and waiting for some paint to dry on all the holes I had to drill and steel I cut is not that big of a deal. I'm also lucky to live in the desert southwest. So rust is not that big of a deal.

Plus it's a jeep, not a Cadillac or show car... You should see my desert pinstripes 😆

The feel of shifting takes some getting used to. It’s auto so not that big a thing but it does feel different. I’d guess you could call it “lighter”. Just took it for a test run to make sure everything was good to go. I didn’t screw it up!!!! :like:

Different feel I'm sure. Press down to change rather than the trigger changes things too, I suppose. With the adjustment. Looks awesome!

Swapped my plastic Mojave bumper for Rubicon steel bumper. I have to figure what to do about the two different plugs for fog lights. Annoying as hell.

Looks great. Only two wires per light I think. I’d just keep the connector on the Jeep harness, and buy the other matching end on Amazon. Or just take your dog light harness out of your plastic bumper, and move it to the steel one. That’s what I did when I pulled my Oem plastic bumper.

Thats what seems easiest. I will do that when I get my Jeep back from dealership.

For me, it was the right way to go. I’m on my third bumper, and just keep moving the harness.

So I also bought a set of new rear leather Rubicon seats. I'm tired of the fur all over the neoprene covers. $900 for a new bumper and new leather seats. Cheaper than PRP seat covers. Already made himself comfortable.
