I like the stock round wheel. The Mojave wheel felt foreign to me in a Jeep. Probably just a placebo thing, but I felt like I couldn’t turn it as deftly as the normal one.

Tall guy, large hands, and the Mojave is heaven compared to the thin '20 stock. I like keeping things looking stock, when it's not. 93k+ miles, so things are starting to show wear. I don't plan on getting rid of my JT anytime soon, so replace when the deals happen.

Yeah, but not as much as usual. I generally have a foot or more still on the ground at the end of March.
F%^K THAT! Must be the reason I'm a snow bird from Missouri. Back home it was 90 degrees yesterday and 43 today. Again, F$%K THAT.

Here in the lower Florida Keys it stays in the 70's day and night.

When the wind blows a lot it can be as much as 10 degrees colder Brrrr.....

My eye-opener was when I was riding on my motorcycle, open face helmet and rode through a swarm of love bugs hovering over the road. I had to pull over because I was coughing so hard. I have no idea how many I ingested.
On one of my 5K plus motorcycle trips I was motoring along around 75 when a bee or wasp somehow got in my helmet. Stung on the side of my left eyebrow before I was able to stop and get the damn helmet off. Swelled up very little---but hurt like hell for a good three days.

My Bike back then was a 2015 CVO [Custom Vehicle Operations] Street Glide. Back then the 110 cubic inch engine with 2 valves per cylinder was strictly for the CVO models. The 110 was like death valley hot. Bikes now come standard with 114 Cubic Inches and 4 valves per cylinder and are amazingly cool. That bike had the best paint job ever as far as I'm concerned.

And this it loaded up. My goal that summer was to ride to every state [except the NorthEast] and climb to the high point of the state. Obviously the Florida high point was really low at only 345 feet above sea level. Kansas high point here is pretty much flat as a board yet it's just over 4,000 feet above sea level. Did over 300 miles off road on this trip and only about 400 on the interstate.

Well it's not done yet, but the ole lady grabbed some like new OEM running boards for me this morning. I spotted them on marketplace last night. Been looking a while now for a set that was local enough to bother with. These were literally on her path today.

So - gonna put those on this afternoon perhaps. More to come.

Not a fan of plastic steps, but at least they will protect your fenders from rocks.
I dont love them, but I got a couple young step kids that struggle to get in and out and the fiance shattered her ankle a couple years ago and isnt quite as limber as she used to be. Well and my mom is in her mid 60s and its a climb for her.

So anyway I figured id run them for a bit and if I cant stand them i'll look for something else I like more.

Im still keeping the rock rails too in case I ever go on an adventure again. Even when I had my two door (14 badge trails in that one) I ran factory running board when I wasn't on a trip. When we were ready to go ride I had a pair of performance rock rails I would swap onto it.

That’s why jeeps are amazing. Everyone gets them exactly how they want them.

My father in laws Wrangler has the same style. While they aren't necessarily my style, they do work well for ingress and egress.

A few years ago, I was riding to my mother's house after work. It was only about 3 miles away. Stupid me just wore my shorts instead of putting on my jeans. Had a bee fly up my shorts and sting me on the inside of my thigh up high. Felt like someone had stuck a lit cigarette on my thigh. Lesson learned. Never again. I don't care if I am just riding around the block, I put on long pants. For giggles, here's mine.
