First time taking the back doors off after 5.5 years of owning this Jeep. Felt like my youngest son was finally ok to ride back there and I was right, he loves it.

It took me until I got some second hand tube doors, before I was comfortable with the kids in back. It was years before the rears came off.

You could've done it earlier and after they FAFO'd you could stand over them and say the line our parents said to us whenever we acted stupid and got hurt...

"So....what'd we learn ?".

My parents were STRONG believers in letting you learn on your own. I once took a sheet of thin plywood, propped it up against our picnic table and was going to jump it with my Schwinn Apple Crate 5-speed bike (best bike EVER). I did a lap around the house to gain speed and hit the ramp. The plywood flexed, popped under the table and I hit the table edge with my bike. Flipped the table on its side, me going with it. Knocked the wind out of me. As I lay there in the grass gasping, my Dad, who was watching me the whole time from the back patio, yells over, "Try it again, stupid !!". I'm on my feet now, hands on my knees, trying to breathe. I shake my head, no. Then he says, "What'd we learn ?".

I get that with some things. But I already feel guilty that mine is a 21 and there aren’t air bags in the back for them. It’s the other drivers I worry about. A t bone accident especially. But I’m not to the point that they don’t have fun and do dumb things to learn. But they can be safer than I was. The number of concussions because of not wearing a helmet in my youth; that they can skip.

More organizing courtesy of Lowes. Straps easier to access, rubber hammer has been handy to have, though I may move it to the other side and graduate from d-rings to soft shackles and hang them in this corner by the straps.

I'm still waiting for my endoscope to be delivered so I can give my Jeep a colonoscopy to find that missing screwdriver bit. Let's see how HE likes getting a camera jammed up an orifice.

I may wait until tomorrow. I have that Start/Stop kill doohickie to plug in also, it's sitting on the floorboard. I previously said it was no big deal hitting the kill button on start up, yeah, that got old. I bought one.

I still haven’t pulled the hard top off for the season. And it’s almost mid July I feel shamed. But I also need somebody to assist with it as especially with the lift installed, now my wife is too short.

That being said, I did install a new steering dampener as the stock one was shot. I had a gift card for one of the local parts stores and they don’t carry the falcon or Fox stabilizers so I got a Bikstein to use for the next season, then I’ll figure out if I wanna go fox or falcon.

I've had 3 in the past 3 years. I know of what I speak....

I was stupid and had my first at age 62. Found 9 non-cancerous polyps. 9. Came back the next year, inadequate bowel prep, canceled halfway through. 6 months later, all clear. Now I have a 5 year respite from sitting in the bathroom doing my impression of the Artemis rocket on liftoff.

I was scoped a couple months ago. All clear. Yep..........prep is the worse part. I was joking with the doctor before they put me out. I asked for cherry flavored bubble gum on the end of the scope. Doctor gives me this real funny look. Nurses are going WTF. Then I said "when I start chewing. You know it's in deep enough". They all lost their shit on that one.
