What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Deleted member 30519

Its the RC 3.5 coil lift. Took about 5 hours to install. I dont know if it'll interfere much with the max tow, but im not worried as I dont ever tow anything. I only wanted max tow for the gearing efficiency with increased tire size.

A lot of people talk bad about the RC kits but I figured I'd check it out myself. If something breaks, I can always upgrade it piece by piece.
I've been running my RC 3.5" coil lift with n3 shocks since last May and it's been great so far.

I have a 96-A1 I wouldn't trade for a tank (well...maybe :) )
@Gren71 @IamAlan

90-two. I tuned the action and trigger on polished steel. There is no notch to the slide action or grit to the trigger. KKM match barrel 11° on recessed crown, 6.5lb double action trigger thats smoother than freshly waxed pussy, amerigo orange front on black out u notch rear(not my favorite, but fast for conceal carry and low light), stainless guide rod nitron coated guide rod on polished gold wire recoil spring, sissy stick safety pulled for g decock, 18&20 round sticks. I prefer a 45 and i prefer a hand made all steel 1911...but when i have to carry a 9mm, this does fine. Accurate to 200m with the sights on it, so thatll do well enough for conceal carry.

Trigger is great for concealed. Not too twitchy nor overly short competition reset. Just smooth to the wall with a glass rod break.

The only problem with carrying a beautiful tricked out piece like that is, if, God forbid, you ever have to use it in self defense, it will be confiscated by the gendarme. And it'll take a long time to get it back, if ever. This is the reason I don't carry my Colt Plus II.

I dont really want to get into details, but its not that bad if its ruled justified. And i decided a long time ago that a race car parked in the garage doesnt win races. And brother. There’s no race faster in the world than the race to the front site post. I always carry my best. Id never forgive myself for leaving a race car in the stable and having my kid or my woman get hurt.

I have a friend that had to use his gun to defend himself in his business from an armed robber. He shot 4 times, 3 hit the ice cream fridge but one went through the guys lung. It took him almost 2 yrs to get his glock back.

Worth it. Isnt always that long in some states. But they could keep my full custom RMR’d 2011 for twice that long if it gets me home to my kids or keep them safe.

I build race cars to win fucking races.

Yep, I carry the best gun I have daily. I'm a 1911 guy. In a life or death situation, I want my best weapon on my side. If it is confiscated so be it.

Have to say I would never, ever want to have to use any of my weapons on a human, but if I did have to, the last thing I’d care about is how long it took me to get it back. I agree with the 1911 comments, and prefer mine in 10mm. Having said that, what I would want if I ever did find myself in a bad situation is my S&W .357 8 shot revolver. Most accurate handgun I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned a bunch. Give me a revolver every time when reliability is paramount and nerves are high. If you can’t do what you need to with 8 shots, you need to be vacating the area yesterday anyway. But I’m an old guy with old school ways..

And BOTH of the above would get left behind for the Marine Magnum or Shockwave with 00 buck if I had the luxury of the time to get my hands on either. Waaay easier to point than aim.
