So I normally ONLY run Rancho RS7 MT shocks or struts on my vehicles because they have the best ride on my terrain and inexpensive enough to change out as needed. They are Progressive & Digressive.

I noticed these “reds” on the Rubicons ride pretty darn good. Some folks say they are made by Tenneco, anyone know what version of shock they are ?

i hate to replace them right now with RS7’s if they are close to the same thing.

I have the red Mopar shocks on my 2023 EcoDiesel Gladiator. Even though they are made by Tenneco, they have a Mopar part number on them. My truck is bone stock, but I like how it rides/handles. I only have 6,000 miles on my Jeep, so I can't speak for longevity. It would be interesting to know if these shocks are rebadged or if they were made just for Mopar.

The red Willys shocks are rumored to be the same as the ones fit to Rubicon. They ride OK, though I like a bit more control. I’m doubtful they are the same as they have different part numbers.

Shame ya don't live closer I'd give you a set of new Red take offs I bought long ago. I used them for about 50 miles and put the sport shocks back on so I could drive 55 mpg and not feel like I was driving in a hurricane. Been standing in the corner for a couple years I'd say

I guess I’ll just run them for a few more months and change them out. Even if they are Rancho they will be a lesser version like GM stuff.

I ran the red Rubicon shocks for 55,000 miles. The first set died at 40,000 (one was leaking). The second set was still good when I took them off to install a Mopar lift kit. I judge the Fox shocks that came in the Mopar kit to be better in every case except small bumps. The red shocks give a smooth ride, but they do allow a little wobbling.
