Cool, I have heard horror stories from others it was a bitch and 50/50 something would break.Nope, just some clips popped off. Just reseat them.
what did you do? I have plenty of hot glue, caulk, etc but not sure exactly what you’re suggesting. Also sounds like it may be beneficial to take those other electronics off and putting sound dampening behind it, or some plastic pad or something.Since you're in the process of sound deadening, I would suggest using some type of sealant to adhere that part to the body. When I did the same sound deadening treatment, I found that those rattle really bad with any increase in bass and had to go back in there and solve that issue with the vent rattling. I used RTV and the rattles outside went away. before I did that, my truck had the horrible 04' Honda civic with a 15 in the truck and a license plate kazoo goin on. Nothing worse to my ears than hearing that outside, especially when the top is off.
-Cheers

I started to run wires for my solar panels and power supply to the bed that way but passed on it for that reason and entrance for bugs.Trust me when I say be sure and leave it and if you can - try not to run wires through it. If you drive down a dusty road or a dirt road and you don't have it or you have wires ran through it. The wires will keep it open and dust will come in to the cabin through it.... learn from my mistake.
