As Jeep falls farther behind in their paint schedule, some are succumbing to the lure of other colors (cue music: Another One Bites the Dust).

So what is your 'tempt color'? How long will you wait?

I REALLY wanted Gator, with Gobi being a VERY close second but from what I heard from corporate, supposedly they're not looking produce those until later next year now. Obviously I wasn't willing to wait so hence the red.

There's always paint job options down the road (or maybe a second Gladiator, LOL). From what I saw of the pricing on full body wraps, I thought it was a bit outrageous.

The longer I wait for Hydro Blue, the better Punk'n looks. I actually had an orange car (MINI) before my current daily driver. What can I say, I like bright colors. I'm a ways from succumbing to temptation, though. Blue is my favorite color and it's been a while since I've had a blue vehicle (other than my Indian Scout). Holding steady for now ...

I too liked Gator and Gobi, but went red as I wasn't willing to wait until next year

I keep going back and forth so much so that I’ve picked three different sets of wheels based on the color I might end up with. I’d also really love to drive a diesel before choosing but I just don’t know.

Part of me thinks gobi with lettering for my business and the dusty high desert I’m moving to is the smartest choice but that sting grey is such an eye catcher. Favorite color in general is blue and I’ve never owned blue anything. I feel like a chick that tries on outfits to go out for 3 hours then just gives up and orders a pizza

I considered waiting for Gator, Gobi, Stingray, etc. But after I thought about it for a while I decided that Firecracker was the best bet. It's not a neutral color, so it's got some "pop" to it and the odds of me getting tired of it are very small. The odds of me getting tired of one of those earth-tone neutral colors would have been greater.

Waiting for Gator, Stingray is my backup, I love Punkin but I already have a bright orange 4Runner

Who is the corporate contact?
This is the first I've seen on here other than a few dealers saying that the colors weren't expected to be available until next year.

I kept spec'ing Hydro Blue or Punk’N, but my son convinced me to go White. After having it a week and a half, I am very content with the color choice. :like:
