I don’t usually run with anything in/on mine. My wife has a Jeep plug on hers for the last 5 years.

I recently saw this and will probably be getting one as it is an excellent design for attaching a tow strap/line.

I plug my hitch with this semi-homemade cover. It’s a plastic clip-in oval-shaped plug that formerly had a “puffy plastic” dealer logo. Picked up a few a number of years ago, for free. I peeled the dealer logo off, and replaced it with reflective tape. No significance to the colors or shapes, other than I liked it, but the reflective part is very useful and noticeable. Just inexpensive and easy…
