& there should be enough room under there for the after market to make a long range tank for it

one point about the grand wagoneer, my understanding is that they will be priced above the Grand Cherokee - as in, it could hit Range Rover territory...
Absolutely . . . it's a 3 row job ! Now the standard Wagoneer I believe will be 2 row !

It was something more about that. I was like attach some gas cans! But he made a point about it. I'll report here if I find it again. What's mpg like on a rangie? Don't think he wanted the jeep to win. But he couldnt say much since he obviously liked driving Jeep.

Once again, reading a thread and forgot the original topic.
Damn near every thread here seems that way.

I have a very high regard for Andrew St. Pierre White. He is one of the few people who has actual experience in overlanding in some very remote places and builds the trucks to take him there.

Having said that, the shortcomings of the Wrangler Rubicon come down to two points.
1. The on road steering of the JK
2. The lack of load carrying capacity and space of the Wrangler.

Both of these are valid points and hopefully the configuration of the JL has helped with #1 and the increased carrying capacity of the JT will take care of #2 making the JT the best vehicle out there...

I really would like to see a comparison of the Toyota LC 79 Series (a pick up) which is used extensively in Africa and Australia with the JT. I believe that these two vehicles are (or have the potential to be) the best overloading vehicles in the world and since we can’t get the 79 Series here in the US will leave the JT on the top of the mountain alone!!! IMHO

the first 7,000 government ones are sold out.

The rest of them are available to order. I bet they'll take a million orders if enough people want em. Not sold out, just "how long will it take to build them all".
