If it is grayish/silver in color, then it could be anti seize compound. Hand cleaner may take it out quick and then a follow up with a good leather conditioner.

What sort of work was done? Your info says you have a diesel Rubicon, and that looks sort of like dried/crystalized DEF on the seat. That stuff is corrosive so would likely leave some damage on the seat if left long enough.

Maybe @JeepCares but dealerships don't. I spent 15 years running parts and service departments. We kissed a lot of rears. If any of my people treated a customer like we now get treated, I would have sent them walking.
Raise a stink over it, go to the General Manager with pictures ASAP. The longer you wait, the less leverage you have. Then find the District rep. etc., keep climbing. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

My Jeep went in for an ABS light last year. An out of pocket rear sensor and wiring 'repair' later, it took 5 weeks, and me calling the dealer principal to get my truck back. Then I had to repair the wiring repair along the frame where no heat shrink was used and looms not replaced. The auxiliary went dead due to sitting so long, they failed to reinstall several trim screws, and damaged the center console. The vehicle was not ready as promised and after sitting waiting for an hour, I told them that they should deliver it to me, and went back to work. They offered to repair the center console but judging their work, it would only come back worse.

The leather in these sometimes “ashes” or dries out a bit, but it seems something abrasive was spilled on there. I had something similar happen and used leather cleaner, then conditioner (Lexol)and I can barely tell it’s there now. You might even try black shoe polish and buff it out if that doesn’t work. I have done this with couches with great results.

But first I’d try to get the dealer to replace the skin.

Just my $.02, but based on the pictures you posted, it looks like an abrasion as mentioned above. It looks like something with a sharp edge was sat on the seat and when they dragged it out, it "Scratched" the leather.
