Thinking I may have jumped the gun on my wheel purchase. Saw i good deal and couldnt pass it up. I got a set of 17x9 Pro Comp wheels for 150bucks. Was planning on reusing my stock tires for a while but that wont work with a 9” rim. I was thinking going 265/70r17s. Think they would be okay or should I just go 33x12.5x17. Non max tow sport s.

Folks, the wheels for my JT have caused me the most angst in regards to selection. I am very concerned about weight...ergo, aluminum seems to be the choice. However, cast aluminum can't be bent back into shape, vice forged aluminum which supposedly (?) can. But, forged aluminum wheels are very expensive and sizes are limited for those that do offroad vice those that crawl the mall. If you see a good forged aluminum wheel, 18 x 9, that can handle the weight of a fully loaded JT Sport S, with max tow package, would appreciate a heads-up....and that's in the $600-800 price range.

They look like Pro Comp wheels, but not sure. Check out 4WheelParts for the Pro Comp line. If they aren’t, I’m sure you cans find a similar style made by Pro Comp. I had a set on a JK and they were nice and I never had a problem with the finish. They’re on the cheaper $$ side too.

I have the same set for my Dodge 2500 Cummins...But in 8x6.5" lug pattern, of course...

Ended up ordering these in 17x9 wrapped with 37’s. Hopefully it gets here by Wednesday.

My wheels arrived today, but nobody was home, and nobody told me they would have to be signed for...Thanks UPS. So now they're coming back tomorrow to bring them...

And only 3 of my 4 tires showed up today...FedEx managed to fuck that one up...Like usual. 4 tires, shipped at the SAME time...From the SAME location...Picked up by the SAME FedEx truck...Somehow managed to get split-up at the next stop, and 1 tire got sent north to Austell, GA, and the other 3 came on to the Montgomery FedEx hub to be deliver today... I hate FedEx...

Exactly right... You know, because common sense dictates that your average person really only needs 3 out of the 4 tires they ordered... That 4th is just there for a spare...
