Count=1, Very happy with my first Jeep; 2024 JT. Watched my neighbor put over 300K miles on his 2 door Wrangler and always a little jealous. Plus the bed lets me carry things that I would not want in our SUV (like gas cans).

Although I've been a Jeep owner 14yrs, I've only had two Jeeps.
My bodies include a 2011 JKUR and 2024 JTRX.
On my 10th. CJ5, CJ7, TJ, Liberty #1, Liberty #2, CJ7 #2, LJ, JKU#1, JKU#2, JTR. Unless I run across a smoking deal on a JTRD, this one is likely to be the last Jeep I buy. Absolutely LOVE my Gladiator.

I would like to own an early 70s AMC V8 powered CJ5 some day.
No you don't. You *THINK* you want one, but, no, you don't. LOL

I missed my first CJ7 (AMC 304 V8 Golden Eagle with the denim interior) so much a few years back, that I found a clean used V8 CJ7, and restored it to near pristine condition. It *WAS* a head-turner. I'll give it that. I got compliments almost every time I got out of it. But it was also rust-prone, leaky, had mediocre A/C, was prone to wander on-road, and wasn't terribly great off-road either. My subsequent LJ was 10X better in every way.

ps. Both CJ7's were better in every way than the CJ5 I owned before my first CJ7.

I had a 1947 CJ2A daily driver for about 15 years. A CJ5 is an upgrade

Yes, the stock 304 is what I would like!

Though on #4, my favorite of all was the '99 TJ. Soft top, 4 speed and the anemic 4 cylinder engine. Boy was it a blast to run through the gears and do batman turns in the snow. My kids still remember that Jeep and want their kids to have similar experiences.

Not sure i got em all but

'76 CJ5. Wasn't ever road legal but drove it for 2 years on road.
88 xj. I really miss it. That 4.0 was nice
99 tj. 4.cyl..worst ever. Because automatic (almost new just a year old when purchased)
04 grand cherokee (first new jeep - for the wife )
2020.JT.sport.(first new jeep for me)
2024 JTM

I often browse xjs. If I had room for a 3rd auto I would have one again.

I bought my first Jeep in 1974 when I was 14 years old, and I've owned them ever since. Several times I have owned up to three at the same time, such as now: Restored '73 CJ5, '22 392 XR, '23 JT Mojave. The oldest was a 1956, the newest is our 2023 Mojave. I lost count a long time ago, and don't care to try and add it up now. Lets just say >30.

I have a 360 laying around here (in parts, but enough to build one) and a 401 that's complete, apart, needs to be rebuilt............... I'm hoping the 401 goes into a vintage Jeep some day.
401s pulled out of junkyard vehicles are going for well over 2 grand now running or not. Original bores, good condition, the price shoots up from there. It's pretty easy to make a 360 put out well over 400 hp without a lot of effort. Plop that into a little CJ5 and you have a killer Jeep.

J2000 was my 1st back in the 70’s. Since then, just bout every Wrangler generation to come along. Then there’s the countless Cherokees for wives/GF’s.

now, just the Glad and an old CJ5 I use just for snow plowing

I don’t think I’ve ever NOT had a Jeep.

No way I could count them all.
