Wheel choices

Getting ready to pull the trigger on to wheels. Tires will have to come later. I’ve got the Mojave 41 color. I’m trying to pick a wheel. That’s a little different than what everybody else picks. That’s harder than I thought it was gonna be what is your guys’s thoughts? If any of you guys are running these, let’s see it.

Black looks good with the 41 color. But if you're goal is to be different the color match wheels will look good too and not a lot of people do that. I think I've seen 1 jeep with 41 color wheels. Everyone has black wheels

Unless AVID1 has gotten better QC in the last decade, I'd stay away from them. I've seen too many of their wheels crack, break, chip easily. Granted this was almost a decade ago and they were almost always on street cars, but I'm sorry...if your wheel cracks from being curbed at 5mph...no thank you. (FYI, iirc AVID1 was a "knockoff" of AVID Wheels, they're $1k+ each).

Even the XXR I had back then were better quality (had 4 studs sheer off and the other stripped due to a shop overtightening lugs, the car fell on the wheel, the rotor rolled inside the wheel barrel for 10-15' before slamming onto the oil pan as the wheel rolled off into the distance, bounced up about 25' then slammed onto the pavement. only a small scratch on the rim from slamming down 25' on the ground, and a scratch from the brake rotor rolling along the barrel.)

The angle of the spokes in bronze from that Impact 8807 would look good, just not sure about quality brand wheels for trucks yet.

I went with this wheel, gun metal grey
On a hydro Blue glad, I get lots of compliments and it didn't set me back a bunch.

I'm a huge fan of the Quadratec Morphic wheel. It's very similar to the stock Willys wheel but with more concavity. So it looks stock, but also not.

They're relatively inexpensive - around $220 each - which means you'll have a little money to have them painted or powder-coated in the '41 color. Having your wheels in the '41 color will give you the exclusivity you're looking for as not many color-matched wheels look as clean as Gator, Gobi, or '41.

These are our Morphics on our JL with 33" tires. I believe you said you are keeping your tires for now. This will give you an idea.

Ive seen the 392 XR bronze on 41 JT and it looked great! Had the black ring around them as well, loved the look. I’m looking for a set of the bronze as well but I found these and will probably go with them if I can’t find a set of the XR at a decent prize by the end of the year.
