A 4th lane? What lol.

You and I both know this truck ain’t making a u turn on a 2 lane road. I have 2 lanes on each side of my street plus a turn lane. If I use the turn lane to make a u turn, I hit the curb.

If I'm in a center turning lane and have two lanes of opposing traffic to u-turn into, I can do it all day without coming near the curb at all.

So I make this turn every day without crossing the line. And I don't have much issue in parking lots either. But I also back in to most spots. So this does appear to be a bit wider for sure haha ?

I'm on 40x13.5x17 with 0 offset

I come down this street everyday and make a u turn to go back to my house. We even have shoulders wide enough to fit cars there. If I’m tucked into the turn lane I will 100% take out my neighbors trash cans if she leaves them on the street by the sidewalk.
