Yes I had them made but anyone can do this, not just a one time thing. I want to encourage the mods not sway you one way or the other. You don't have to wait if you don't want to.
Good luck.
Do they make the axles in the standard width too and not just the extra wide axle width? Are they chromoly? 35 spline chromoly would be pretty bombproof.

Mine is the std size. I have the sport s. They are 1541 forged. You don't want chromoly in the rear. You need case hardened steel for the bearings since the weight of the truck is on the shafts. That is for a whole different conversion.

Definitely interested in that conversation. I’ve always thought alloy axles were supposed to be superior, but only because of reading and marketing. I’d certainly like to hear more on the subject.

1541 35 splines are for the rear. They spring and return to shape. They are superior in semi float rear axles. If they were full float d60s you would want chromoly. It has to do with the case hardening.

My super 35 spline shafts and arb are believed to be 30 percent stronger in the shaft and 50 percent stronger than the rubicon lockers according to arb stress tests. The videos are out there. It takes some research and comparing the data to spicers rated numbers.

Very cool. Yeah, you have me researching hardening techniques and different steel types now... that’s a rabbit hole for sure. Thanks for the info.

No, it comes with a limited slip rear and open front.
It does now but early models like mine are open front and rear. That LSD is why the max tow package is now more than $1000 like it used to be.

I have an Oct 2019 build date with no LSD & my Max Tow package was still over 1000 dollars. 1095 to be exact.. The new ones are 1245 so 150 dollars difference for it now & I would gladly of paid that.

$995 on mine. 6/19 build I bought 7/19. I was so confused why they didn’t offer it with the LSD at that time. Definitely would have liked to have that.

You have factory aux switches so yours is definitely better!
They arent doing anything though. At least not yet... Planning to eventually use a couple of them for the eLockers.

Interestingly my window sheet doesnt list the alternator under the Max Tow that yours does & is still 100 bucks more.

The Tazer lets you activate the rear locker in 2Hi and 4Hi, but not the front locker, and never the front locker alone. The latter seems an edge use case. I don't know there is a software fix for that and the demand to add that feature is likely quite low.

I belive thats only in the coding. You might be able to get around it with a tazer.

At the end of the day, it's all in coding.
There is a way around it.
Question is, is someone willing to spend the time and figure it out.

I'm pretty sure someone could figure out what wires to disconnect and what resistor to put in place in order to bypass the programming if someone wanted to be crude about it.
