All correct, but fwiw, you might spend less getting the one from Warn. As it includes all the cables, and a switch if you didnāt want to use aux switches.I've been reading through this thread because I'll be doing my first winch install this weekend and I'm looking at using this solenoid connected to a factory aux switch.
I'm expecting the small positive pole goes to the aux switch, negative to the fender ground, Large poles go one to the battery positive and winch positive and winch ground goes to the fender ground.
Other hardware needed will be a mounting bracket, a short lead from the solenoid to the battery, and some rubber terminal boots.
