I went with BAK Revolver X4, I needed cover to sit above box when open so I can carry two dirt bikes and still see them. Really pleased with fit and finish. Rolls open and closed in seconds. I included picture of it open and previous post has some closed pictures.

DC, Beautiful cover. Can you show some pictures of it rolled up please? From the same angle and also from the back with the tailgate down?
I apologize for the dirty truck, it rained last night and I haven’t had the chance to wash my truck..

I wanted to share my question to RCI and response received with the forum regarding installing a rack above the MOPAR Tonneau roll-up cover..... See below.

I have another question that remains for this group........ Will the RCI Tonneau Cover Adapters fit the Gladiator with the BAK Revolver X4. roll up cover? Anybody try this?

An answer for your question on RCI Offroad Bed Rack Tonneau Cover Adapters has been received.
Q: Will these adapters allow the Jeep Gladiator MOPAR Factory Tonneau cover to fully function? Thanks
01/22/2021
A: These RCI Tonneau Cover Adapters were designed by RCI specifically for use with their "Adjustable" Bed Racks and hard roll up Tonneau covers such as the BAK Revolver X4. It also accommodates most soft roll up covers as well. It has not been tested with the MOPAR Factor Tonneau Cover so unfortunately, we are unable to confirm full functionality at this time.

Best Regards,

Hello all;
I went into my local Jeep dealer before my trip. I was intent on getting the Mopar hard tri-fold bed cover. The parts guy said not to get it. The owner had one on his Gladiator, and the snaps broke and it wasn't well built. He said to go with the soft version instead. He gave it to me for $450.00 plus tax, which was cheaper than the other dealer I use, and I was like, score!

Installation was...interesting. The key thing was whether you had a Gen 1 (pre-March 2020), or Gen 2 (post-March 2020) Gladiator. I had the Gen 1, so all that was required was a couple bolts, a smaller screw for each side...and screws for the tailgate area brackets.

Prep: you had to cut the bed cap plastic at the scribed lines. Not a big deal, I just used tin-snips. You also had to remove the Line-X spray from the bolt holes and area where the front brackets went. Well, I didn't have thread chasers. I ended up using a flapper disc on my 4" grinder and removed the stuff, and that allowed me to use a small screwdriver to pick away at the Line-X inside the first 1-2 threads without damaging them.

Once that was accomplished, it went on fairly easily and quickly.

Overall, I'm impressed. I drove 2000 miles this past weekend. Friday the 15th, I was in a blizzard, then 30+ mph straight-line headwinds. The cover was flapping a bit at the tailgate...especially with the 60+ gusts (I almost lost my bicycle once). The truck bed inside was dry, with no issues. I like the look of it, and folding it up and out of the way was a piece of cake. I would highly recommend the Mopar soft tri-fold!

can you please show me how the sides are held Down ? The others all seem to use Velcro but can’t find info on mopar.
I’m thinking the Velcro may look cheap or get rough quickly. If mopar attaches better it may be worth the extra $100 or so.
Thank you

i had the mopar hared tri old cover, and ended up selling it for the Mopar roll up.

What I didn't like about the hard tri fold was that it decreased the space available for larger items at the back of the bed (nearest the window) because of the pivot point and where it mounts. If I put it all the way up the cover was sitting against the rear glass of the hard top. I also didn't like the tracks that the tri fold sat in. The decreased the interior space of the bed on each side, and leaked a bit. It was very secure and sleek looking, but not as functional as I wanted.

Theyre small annoynaces but they were enough of a problem that it pushed me to sell and look at another option to regain the usability of the bed.

The roll up provides a clean look, easy fit, maximized the bed space and use, and still provides security with the locking bed feature.

I have the under cover flex and really like it.
move been using it a lot more than I thought and it really makes the bed like a trunk when closed but I really like the prop rods to hold it up if i need the whole bed.

looks a lot like the armis above and very similar to the mopar... wondering if they are made by under cover? (Or visa-versa)

For what it’s worth I’d suggest the undercover flex...

I just installed a Tyger Soft Tri-Fold...it is awesome. It cost $200 and took me about 15 minutes to install. Love it so far!

I looked over the mopar one and my rugged ridge armis in person, they have all the same parts/pieces. I've only seen pics of the undercover but that also looks to have the same parts as well. The mopar doesn't have the struts while armis and undercover do, undercover has a lighting option but the others don't, and the armis has the line-x applied which is unique to that one (and what sold me on it).

I have mine on the way and should be here soon. Thanks for your posts! They definitely convinced me of getting the TCUSA. I'll be installing it myself.

Can you show or let me know if they used any of the existing holes in the truck bed or if they drilled new holes for the drain tubes? I see sets of what look like tube drain holes in the front and back of the Gladiator bed, but they're not 1-1/8" as TCUSA suggests.

Also... I thought I remember you stating silicone was used for some of the installation... I take it by your posts, you did not install yourself, but do you know if they used silicone on both sides and the canister or they just used gaskets?

Thanks for any help!

it was a no brainer for me to get extang solid fold 2.0 again. Kept my f150 bone dry in the back. Very good quality. Here's the thing. Some of the different brands fold up and lock into place etc. Maybe thats the right combo for some. Always a compromise. With extang, if I need to fill up the bed I can take it off in seconds and throw it in the yard. Then put it back on in seconds. I have not installed it on jeep yet. Came in sunday but they sent the wrong one. I am pissed at them for that but I still believe in the product

I love the all-aluminum Diamondback covers. I have the new smooth HD cover which I also use to mount my Ham antennas on. The panels remove quickly if I want to haul something, and the cover is rated to handle 1,600 lbs on top of it. Makes a great platform for me to walk on when I need to take photographs from higher elevations, and the deadbolt style locks make it very safe to store anything back there. You would need a big crowbar to try and get into it.
